“Another absolutely wonderful trip to Great Sacandaga Lake. Been to a few spots there now. This one is deferentially one of the best. Great views of and easy access to the lake. Nice dock. Boat launch 1/2 mile away. House is laid out nice. Easy to unload vehicles just a few steps away from the back door, no climbing up or down hills to unload. Brent is a awesome host, responds quickly. Be sure to check back here soon when he add pictures of the new lower level renovations and opens it...

“The hotel has a nice restaurant, bar area and outside firepit area. Everything seemed clean and neat. The staff was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that I booked a room with two double beds via Expedia and received a confirmation back that the room had two double beds. “Clean up after your dogs! Don’t ruin traveling for the rest of us.”

“The first disappointment was how close by the road was.It makes sense for an old hotel, but I found the constant noise and traffic unpleasant and certainly for sitting on the verandah. Also no breakfast is served which is mentioned on website though it definitely was not happening. And lastly I found it tacky to demand a dollar each for drinks in the beverage area.If it costs that much they could incorporate it in the room charge. It just seems unwelcoming”
