“The problem with this rental is a lack of adequate heat. We arrived on a bitterly cold December night a few days before Christmas. Our two adult children stayed with my dad at his house in Goldthwaite and my husband and I rented this house for ourselves, A cold front had blown in. “Beautiful property in a secluded setting on a working ranch. As a surprise bonus, the owner supplied us with a dozen fresh eggs from their free range chickens. Yummy! The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed, and there were plenty of big, thick, thirsty towels. Hubs forgot his charger, and the owner went above and beyond to mail it to us! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!”

“The place was great for one night. The bed was comfortable. A couple things that need to be fixed. The shower door doesn’t stay shut and the shower head comes directly out of the ceiling. Overall it’s quiet and safe. ”
