“We so enjoyed our stay in Galveston, and at the Beach Side Bungalow. The Bungalow is a close walk to the beach and restaurants. We walked down to the recommended ShyKatz with our little dog for breakfast the first morning. We slept well, and liked the peaceful atmosphere of the Bungalow. “My wife and I stayed here for our 26th anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful — a charming log cabin that is nicely furnished, comfortable, and clean inside. It has a lot of character and could have been a wonderful anniversary getaway.Unfortunately, two major issues really affected our stay. First, the listing gives the impression that the cabin sits on a creek with a beautiful waterfall. “We enjoyed our stay. However, we had to get ahold of the host, we couldn't lock the front door due to a low battery on the electronic door lock. Which delayed our plans about an hour. Also, didn't care for the front or backdoor, neither of the glass doors had covers so anyone walking by could look into the house. Otherwise, the property had everything we needed and was situated far enough from Main to be very quiet and peaceful.”
