“I can truly give the highest recommendation to "The Rekindled Farmhouse"! When I opened the door I was greeted by not just a place to say but a home in every sense of the word. The owner met me in the parking lot to greet me, and this morning as I left came out to say goodbye. What a great place. I know that when returning to this area I will be there time and time again.”

“Nice, quiet and comfortable place close to things we wanted to see. A/C worked great. Views on the river are beautiful. We slept well. As others have mentioned, there are inside stairs which have slightly shallow steps. If you have normal mobility & strength you will be okay. Just something to note. We were fine with the stairs. Host is responsive and helpful. Would stay again and recommend. ”

“Awesome place, completely renovated, perfect location to town, super clean! I'd recommend and stay here again! Multiple levels with stairs. If you have trouble with stairs I'd look elsewhere also no full kitchen and small refrigerator. That being said this is a 5 star place without question. Same goes for the host, accommodating, super responsive! ”

“The apartment is beautiful with the most attention to detail. We walked each night to the water/restaurants in Newburgh. Communication was quick and timely. We would love to stay here again. The area can get loud at times but we didn't feel unsafe.”

“My wife and I spent one night in Villa Verde. The hostess, Eva, was gracious and kind. She obviously puts a lot of thought into what she does. The accommodations were comfortable and restful. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Eva even tried to poach eggs for us. We got to talk to her about her life for a little bit and would love to visit again. She is a true gem. ”

“Thos was a really great spot close to all the adventure spots, the beach, places to rent paddleboards and Kayaks, resturants etc. The unit was well appointed with all of the things you would need. The host was very responsive when we had a slight issue with one of the locks which was likely human error, but we we able to solve the issue and get right in to iur comfy spot by the water. ”
