“We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub. We wanted somewhere with access to cute little towns and hiking, but that also provided us that West Virginia woodsy privacy, and this spot was perfect! “This Coolfont cabin was the perfect weekend home for our family of four (and our dog). Friendly staff at the lodge welcomed us with giant smiles and answered all our of questions. The cabin was cozy and warm with ample space. Large, clean bathrooms. Especially loved the wood stove. We enjoyed the hiking and biking trails nearby, as well as the on-site restaurant, on-site pool and brew pub just across the street. Will definitely be back!”

We were able to unpack our things and begin to relax immediately. Janie was great to work with and gave us good suggestions for places to eat and things to do. “We stayed for a quick last minute getaway. Lots of value for the price. The house was well stocked with necesseties and mostly clean. It could use a more regular deep clean as the windwsills by the kids bed had old bugs, cobwebs on some decor and under the couch trundle bed was very dirty. There wasnt wifi and the number that was left for us couldnt be used on the house phone. None of this hindered our stay though. Hot tub was the reason we booked and very easy to use and enjoy. no neighbors on...
