“I don't like the fact that if check-in time is 3;00 that under no circumstances will they let you in before that. When you are on the road traveling you don't have an idea a lot of the time about when you will arrive. Would be nice to have someone say sure, for an extra fee you can have a room now or it will be ready in an hour. Better than having to wait 3 or 4 hours. “This is where you would want to go if you want to stay someplace quiet out of the main touristy area of Bar Harbor. The Inn is very cute like staying at your grandmother’s, it is across the street from Prospect Harbor. We rode in on a motorcycle in the rain from Bar Harbor and Gale was at the door to greet us with two dry towels.
