“We stayed here for a family vacation to enjoy the fall colors and explore Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The location was perfect—an easy drive to both, which made getting around simple and stress-free.The home has a peaceful backyard set away from the road, which made it a nice spot to relax. You might hear some traffic at night if the windows are open, but it didn’t affect our overall comfort.Communication with the owners was excellent—very prompt and helpful. “We enjoyed our week stay at the farmhouse in Kingfield. The location was very nice: walking distance to a restaurant as well as to the trails for back country xcountry skiing. The house itself, as an older farmhouse, has a number of recent upgrades such as modern appliances, but overall showed its age. It can definitely use a really good deep cleaning. There were obvious signs of rodent visitations. The heating systems are eclectic and took some effort to create a comfortable living environment....
