Highly recommend this property for families!! My kids (4 and 7) loooooved the bunk beds!!! We had a little bit of an issue checking in because they put us in a non bunk bed room and the second room was occupied but the assistant front desk manager treated us to a cabana on the water park for one of the days. Service was amazing! Kids club is really clean and organized but my kids said it was boring lol. Food is delicious especially the buffet. We thought the buffet was better than the à la carte restaurants. Local food was really delish too - mackerel, curried goat, ackee and saltfish. BUT the pastries?!?!! OH MY THIS PASTRY CHEF DESERVES A PRIZE AND THEN SOME. the morning croissants and the cakes during dinner were sooooooooooo yummy!!!!

I recently stayed at Princess Resorts with my family and had a very disappointing experience. Before arrival, my daughter spent weeks trying to update my reservation from two guests to one. Expedia and the resort kept redirecting me to each other, and no one resolved it. As a result, I was overcharged for a two-person stay. During the stay, housekeeping woke my family 2.5 hours before checkout by banging on the door and yelling, despite the “do not disturb” light being on. Service at the Jamaica Food Market was also unwelcoming—the hostess Sonya refused to let my daughter wait for my son in law and Grandsons to return from the restroom before directing us to our table and had a very uncomfortable attitude. Amenities were limited. The water park closes at 5 PM, and the food truck was already closed and out of food by 4:30 PM after a long travel day. We were told the ice cream shop was 24 hours, but ice cream stops at midnight. The game room has age restrictions (13+ and 18+), which excludes my 7 and 11 year old grandsons. Food at the sports bar was poor, and kids aren’t allowed after 8 PM. I had to babysit one night due to this just so my daughter and son in law could have a nice evening. I was looking forward to doing karaoke with them but someone had to watch the kids. Drinks were watered down unless you had a specific wristband. The room also had a sewage smell from standing water in the shower. Overall, not truly all-inclusive or family-friendly. I would not return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. For me, it was the best hotel food I've had. Would certainly look to go back another time. Only thing I would change is that i wished there was a sink in the toilet area.

This resort is super clean and the food is amazing. The rooms are gorgeous with a beautiful view. It’s an open layout so you get to see the beach as soon as you enter the resort. There’s also a lot of activities for the children to enjoy. I did not like that we were there for a week, tried going to the à la carte restaurants at different times and every time there was an hour wait. However, the buffet did not have a wait and the food was delicious. Also, I do not feel like it was all inclusive as there is a charge for room service (even if you generously tip) and there is a charge for the VR games for the kids. We also got the swim up pool with our room. The view was great but, the water was always cold. So although they say you can get in 24hours, it’s too cold to enjoy.

Our room was beautiful. We had a swim out and it was fantastic. All rooms seemed to be centrally located so you didn’t have to walk far to get to anything. The à la cartes were limited. I am used to going to resorts where you have a steakhouse, a tepanyaki and a seafood as staple restaurants. All 3 of these restaurants were on the adult side, Senses. We were on the family side, so we had no access to these restaurants. That was a major disappointment for us. We did 2 à la cartes twice - the Italian and fusion. They were excellent and the staff were amazing. The buffet was redundant after a while. I’ve been to much better buffets at other resorts so it was a bit of a let down. The staff at the buffet were not that friendly and very slow. The pool, waterpark and beach sections were amazing. There was always plenty of beach chairs available and lots of shady areas. The maid service was great. They cleaned our room daily around 12:30 which was the perfect time. I’ve been to other resorts where my room didn’t get cleaned until 5 pm when I was trying to get ready for supper. This was not the case. They also replaced our towels and changed all the bedding daily. The nightly entertainment was ok. Some shows were more interesting than others, but every night it was some type of music performance. It would be better if they had more of a variety. All in all, a great experience but there are things that can be improved upon.

This new(ish) property was absolutely beautiful! The grounds were clean, the staff were more than friendly and the rooms were spotless. We were told it was at full capacity when we were there for spring break, but it’s so massive, it never felt crowded. There wasn’t a typical teen spring break crowd, but more of parents and lots of young kids. We would try the adult side next time. The music from the shows at night is SO loud. We needed a white noise machine every night to block it out. I felt bad for people with young children trying to sleep through that every single night. The buffet was our go-to every night at dinner because if you showed up after 6:00 to the specialty restaurants, you would never get a seat. The “hot” buffet food was like warm to cold. I’ve seen this same complaint in countless reviews. Probably explains why the crepe and omelet lines were long because people wanted hot food. The food trucks at the pool had the best food! Especially the jerk chicken and patties. The sports bar also had good food. It’s not advertised, but the tour company in the lobby offers a complimentary private taxi ride to 3 gift shops just outside the resort. At check-in you get a wristband that serves as your room key. They should really suggest putting it on the hand you do not typically use…the tail of the bracelet drags through the food as people scoop things from the buffet.Think about where else that bracelet tail is dragging through and it starts to gross you out.

Resort is beautiful and brand new, but the service is very poor. As VIP Expedia customers, we never received the welcome fruit basket. At the a la carte restaurants, we waited on average 1.5 to 2 hours every night. We tried the Italian, Mexican, and Asian restaurants, and all were the same long wait time due to staff shortage . Half of the tables at the restaurants were available but they had no staff to serve the tables. I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old, and waiting that long is unacceptable. I was not alone, many people were frustrated and disappointed. The coffee bar ran out of pastries every morning, and the wait for a coffee was about 30 minutes. At the pool and beach bars, we waited 20 minutes just to be noticed. There is no customer service. For a resort this size, one coffee shop and four restaurants with no staff is unacceptable. Half the trip was spent just waiting.

I traveled with my three kids. The resort was nice, clean and welcoming. The staff was so friendly, always smiling and very helpful. I highly recommend this resort . I plan on coming back soon for my 50th. Definitely a must !

Property was amazing. Clean, easy to walk around, lots of options for fun. I traveled with 2 kids and they loved the kids pool! Kids club was also nice, but we didn’t spend much time there. The staff is extremely hospitable and the food was amazing!!! What was lacking for me was the consistency of activities both during the day and at night. Some private events were happening and it seems like the entertainment was prioritized to these groups versus the rest of the customers. Some activities were moved/cancelled and each person would give us a different answer, so they don’t really know what’s going on. Other than this piece, everything was really good and I would go back! Giving them some grace as the resort just reopened and I believe they might still be adjusting and training the staff.

This place looks great. The problem is that they are not reliable and will not honor your booking preferences. I can’t tell you that they will tell you anything just to get you to book and pay the money and then when you arrive you’re stuck. I was not the only one at the resort talking about how they had expressed booking preferences, and Ben promised certain accommodations only to arrive and be told These are not available. You will have to accept what we have available. No apology. And customer service appalling.

Upgrade to Platinum and ask for Patrice and Evon for your butlers they were amazing! I didn’t give full stars to staff due to younger bartenders on family side pool would rather be texting than serving drinks.

I recently stayed at Princess Grand Jamaica Resort and had a very mixed experience. The property itself is beautiful and has a lot of potential, but unfortunately, the overall customer service and some of the policies took away from what should have been a relaxing, family-friendly vacation. One of the biggest issues was the inconsistency in customer service. At times, staff interactions felt dismissive and lacked the level of hospitality expected from a resort of this caliber, which negatively impacted the overall experience. On the positive side, there were several standout employees who truly made an effort to provide excellent service. Shana-Guy (Fusion 370), Niesha (Aqua Snack Bar), Verona (Coffee Shop), O’Neil (Bell Boy), and an older gentleman beach lifeguard were all amazing—friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. They are a true reflection of what great hospitality should look like. I was also frustrated by some of the resort’s policies. Requiring men to wear sleeved shirts for breakfast and lunch felt unnecessary and out of place for an all-inclusive beach resort. Additionally, the age restrictions for kids using the arcade were unclear and overly restrictive, which made it difficult for families to fully enjoy the amenities. Overall, while there were bright spots, the inconsistent service and rigid policies significantly impacted my stay. I hope management takes the these concerns seriously and makes improvements.

Girls trip with my sixteen year old daughter for the beach/pool. Large hotel, our room was on the 2nd floor of building six on the beachside. Room was very clean and well maintained. We felt that this side must be much quieter than rooms facing the water park and pool as the moonlight theatre entertainment in the evenings was very loud. We did hear quite a lot of noise from other guests in the halls. Buffet food was good, service varied one dinner great attentive server and the next we never got asked if we wanted a drink. Only ate at the Mexican restaurant and it wasn’t great. The wait at the Italian was over a hour and they don’t take reservations so we never got the chance to eat there. The hotel occupancy felt low so not sure what wait times look like at high occupancy times. We had very few interactions with staff, everyone was polite and courteous. Enjoyed the pool area (clean, plenty of loungers and towels) on the beach side but was surprised that you had to go to the bar for drinks and food no servers for the loungers. We enjoyed the coffee bar and ice cream shop. The jerk food truck was tasty. We also liked the dance entertainment shows in the evenings and that there were times that there was no entertainment activities in the pool area we were at.
