"What a peaceful, tranquil setting on the Shell Rock River. We had a family gathering - 3 brothers and their wives - near where we fished with our Dad and Grandfather 60 to 65 years ago and spent the week sharing positive memories! Thank you for sharing the River House with us."

Great Getaway
"My husband and I stayed at Bertie’s place for the second time and were reminded again of what a great stay this is for us. The house is so well-stocked, so clean, so comfortable, and it makes for a relaxing retreat. With the weather nicer this trip, we did get to sit on the deck and go by the water. ..."
