“We loved the location, the views, and the double glazing. It stayed nice and warm during a wild storm. The deck was awesome. The library of books and magazines fascinating, and lots of board games and cards. However it is lacking a level of cleanliness in the kitchen. There was food left in the oven, dirty tea towels left behind, and the washing up gear and cleaning cloths need to be updated. Small things but good to have.”

“We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. ”
