“We loved our stay in the Blackhouse Cottage, and wished we could have stayed longer. It was gorgeously appointed and well set out. The beds were super comfortable and we were snug and warm in the cold. So cozy and the perfect place to unwind and relax. We would stay here again and again. ”

“It's lovely basic bach and comes with a functional kitchen with stove tops and oven. It's near Arthur's Pass railway station and was not positively surprised with the amount of train traffic late at night and early morning, not ideal for light sleepers. Surroundings are stunning though especially with the fresh snow on the mountains. Walking distance to the village.”
