You won’t tire of the views!
Clean and comfortable home with great communication from owner if anything is needed. The views in just about every room are spectacular! Vicky made us a delicious meal. Sitting by the pool couldn’t have been nicer. The week went by too fast!

Stunning!
Our group of 4 couples thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Ivrea during our week in paradise. The home was well sticked, comfortable and roomy with enough space for 8 of us to lounge around and also have privacy. Vicky was fabulous and the meal she made for us was delicious. The view from the pool was just stunning and where we spent most of our time. Victor drove us all around and was available every time we called him which was super convenient. Owner met us at check-in to show us around and answer questions was also there to say goodbye when we left. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We hated to leave paradise and look forward to returning one day soon.

Paradise and an Amazing View
Our family of 6 stayed here for 7 days. Space was sufficient for 6. The location, pool, and view are stunning. Lovely gardens, fruit trees, and outdoor grounds are well maintained. We tried to use the grill and found it didn't work. Seemed to not have a gas source. Inside the house the architecture and artwork is impressive. Cabinets are well stocked with everything you need to prepare food and host a group of people. We noted some minor maintenance items in need of attention, which we communicated to the property manager, but nothing you wouldn't encounter on any property. Overall the property was ideal for the trip we wanted to have, providing us with privacy but access to easily get into Rodney Bay and Gros Islet. I would book here again.

Incredible Views, Great Atmosphere
This villa was the perfect setup for our large family with teens and young adults. The home was ideally architected to provide a gathering place that included kitchen, family room, deck and pool area in one continuous open space that accentuated the awesome view from high atop a hill overlooking the Atlantic ocean. Claudette, the property manager was quick to help with any question or need we had. Vicky, the cook/housekeeper, was a welcome addition with laundry, dishes, and meals which allowed us to relax. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and stay here again should the opportunity arise.

Best birthday ever!
I came to St. Lucia with my three grown children and two spouses to celebrate my 70th birthday. It couldn't have been a more wonderful location for us! The Villa is spectacular, and the welcome from Claudette the property manager and Vicky, the cook/housekeeper was sincere and warm. The villa has so much room for all of us to gather, but also plenty of areas where we can quietly go to read or rest. The location was beautifully secluded to make us feel we were not really tourists. The VRBO photos don't even give the full effect of the beauty of this place! Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you!

Dream getaway!
This was the most peaceful, relaxing vacation we have ever had. The house and grounds were beautiful and the owner and housekeeper were both so lovely and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. If you want to disconnect from the rest of the world and recharge with beautiful views, THIS is the place to do it!

Exactly like the listing said it would be
This property was exactly the way it's listed online. Ive Rented plenty of properties using home away and some properties exaggerated a little bit. Miss Bertha did a absolute wonderful job as the house maid. And that Creole chicken and rice and plantains and potatoes that she cooked us for lunch was delicious. Everyone was drinking the Creole sauce like it was soda. The views from the house and the pool were amazing. And I also love the fact that we were closer to town but also away from town. It was so peaceful. I do recommend having a rental. One night we tried calling a taxi and the one guy was on the other side of the island and the number to another guy he gave us didn't know how to get to the villa. Everyone kept asking me how to get to the Villa as if Im from St Lucia. I gave perfect directions from the golf course to the villas and they still had no clue what I was talking about. There was only two complaints that we had. We asked that the two King beds be broken down to two single beds. That did not happen but everyone was fine with the arrangement so we didn't make a big deal out of it. Also, the TV in the cottage did not work. I didn't really care because I don't really watch TV while on vacation. we plan to revisit the island in about 3 years. More than likely we will rebook cap estate.

Amazing villa; amazing views!
The Villa is even better than the pictures suggest. It was spacious, and reasonably well-equipped (for a rental property). Plenty of beach towels and pool towels supplied. And the views were absolutely amazing. A vehicle seems necessary to get to beaches, restaurants and grocery stores. We had an amazing day on a speed boat charter out of the Rodney Bay marina.

Gorgeous Property
Villa Ivrea is a very stately home. As opposed to some Caribbean villas we've stayed in, it was very comfortable. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, and has a magnificent view of St. Lucia Passage. The property manager and staff were extremely attentive to our needs, and the owners looked to our comfort through VRBO contact messaging to ensure our needs were met.

What a view!
Our week was wonderfully relaxing in this beautiful home. The first floor living space was very comfortable but admittedly we spent most of our stay on the porch overlooking the pool, the flowers and the Caribbean. It was very warm in October so we were able to open the doors and windows allowing the sea breezes to flow through the house. At night, we retreated to our air conditioned bedrooms. As five women, we prepared our own meals whenever we ate in but Berta was always there to help out whenever we had a question or needed something. So, from the moment that Claudette (the property manager) greeted us to Victor (our amazing taxi driver) dropping us off at the airport, we felt totally pampered. And as a major highlight, Lisa prepared a celebratory feast for us on our last night in St. Lucia.

My Birthday Family Vacation was wonderful! We have a VRBO Rental of our own in Marco Island, so I am familiar with the way things work. This home is lovely! Just as beautiful as listed. The home is very spacious. Air conditioned bedrooms upstairs and nice breeze coming through the entire downstairs. The staff is wonderful. Claudette was attentive to our needs. Bertha is sweet and hardworking. We asked her to join us on our boating adventure to Martinique. Victor provided us with much knowledge of the island and drove us everywhere we asked. We enjoyed family time together and visited Mud baths, zip lines, volcano tour, green buggies adventure, beaches, great dinners and boating. Took some amazing pictures and would definitely recommend staying at this property.

Happy to go back to Villa Ivrea
We rented this property 8 years ago. Went back this time for our anniversary. The property is now even more beutiful. And the view! Almost 150 degrees of ocean view from most of the rooms in the house. The rooms are stunning and have nice and cool AC. Berta made breakfast for us every day and cooked great food. We drove to 4 beaches and went hiking. Villa Ivrea is close to everything. One thing to keep in mind is that groceries are expensive in Saint Lucía. Even if you buy the ingredients and Berta cooks meals for you, you will be spending $$ on food. This is not a negative. Just make sure you know you will be spending around 40-50 USD per person a day if you are eating local.

Perfect island villa with BREATHTAKING views
We are a returning group who absolutely love St Lucia. This trip took us to the Pink Plantation, Tet Paul Trail and Hotel Chocolate. All three venues were awesome. The villa was just freshly painted, air conditioning superb and Bertha cooked lunch for $40 plus ingredients. The black room we nicknamed the icebox, which my oldest son loved. Everything sparkling clean and the property manager a real jewel.

Great experience with good communication. The house manager was exceptionally helpful. Master bedroom was extremely warm And we could not control the thermostat. That is and was the only downside. Villa Ivrea was the most spectacular place for our family to spend our week in St. Lucia. I could go on and on about how amazing this house is, and what a great experience I had leading up to our trip communicating with the owners, but I'll keep it simple: Pros: -THE VIEW- by far the most amazing views, we spent 99% of our stay out by the pool and walking the grounds. -Berta: the housekeeper came by every day promptly at 9 am, she also can cook if you buy the ingredients (and for an additional fee). She made the most amazing beef stew, lentils + provisions, and we got home from our tour to a lovely set table and dinner ready to eat. -Proximity to main attractions (Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Pigeon Island), if you want to do tours you can pick them up in Rodney Bay, grocery shopping at Massy's along the way, beach days at Pigeon Island or Reduit Beach. This home is great for a larger group but still keeps you close to the heart of things. Cons/Things to Consider: - You need a car if you're staying here. This is not a con, it's just a word of caution, we were a group of 6, if we had tried to rely on taxis we would have been hindered in doing the things we wanted to do. We were able to get to dinners/grocery shopping/bank/beach within a few minutes because we rented a minivan for our group. I HIGHLY recommend this! -Sign at the round-about? It's kind of tough the first time getting to the house, it would have been nice to see a bit more signage or even a small sign to indicate that we were close. I also understand this might be a privacy/security issue. -Chef Recommendations from the owners were super unresponsive, which is fine, this isn't Villa Ivrea's fault, but we wish we had known Berta could cook for us for a cost per day. Her rates are reasonable and her food was delicious. -Beds & Pillows: The views from the rooms are amazing and gorgeous, obviously we spent a lot of our time outdoors, but I really think the owners should consider new mattresses/mattress pads and pillows. The only thing that made this feel a little less luxurious was the rough night's sleep. We loved Villa Ivrea, we would definitely come back in a heartbeat and will be recommending it to all of our family and friends.

Amazing Views!
We rent any time we travel and can say that Villa Ivrea is the nicest home we’ve stayed in. Views to die for, spacious and well kept for a rental home. We preferred lounging by the pool taking in the amazing views rather than going to the beach! Having Bertha there to offer her services was very kind and not something you typically experience with vacation rentals without added expense. Claudette was accommodating and even met us late at night on our arrival since our plane was late. Overall a great experience!

Fabulous Villa Ivrea
My friends and I had a wonderful stay at lovely Villa Ivrea. The house, grounds, view, nearby attractions and restaurants were our favorite part of St. Lucia. Thanks so much to Lisa, Claudette and Bertha for providing us a very memorable vacation. Don't miss Duke's Place on Friday or Saturday evening, a great local restaurant in Gros Islet. We had delicious barracuda & marlin. The Naked Fisherman at Cap Maison is right on the beach. The setting, food, service and ambience is perfect. Thanks again. We can't wait to return to St. Lucia!

Great Stay!
Our family of 10 adults and 2 kids had a great time at Villa Ivrea over Christmas! The house was beautiful and perfect for our family. We rented two vans for the week thru Drive-o-matic (best to have them drop the car off at the house-the ride from UVF to Villa Ivrea is quite long and roads are narrow and winding through mountains). We loved scenic morning walks (felt the area was very safe), sitting by the pool, and making meals most nights. Claudette (house manager) was very helpful! We visited nearby Reduit Beach several times and enjoyed our time there- the kids loved Splash Island. We visited the rainforest/mineral baths and waterfalls. We loved the Naked Fisherman and Matthews restaurants. Our weather was perfect. We had some downpours here and there but they were always quick and left lots of rainbows. We had an amazing family adventure!

Such a joy to wake up to the beautiful Caribbean waters. As to the ride from the airport, we do encourage the transfer service from the airport to the villa. Breathtaking views and peaceful retreat!!
We had a great time in St. Lucia and the house met all of our expectations! We traveled to St Lucia for the first time with another couple (4 adults and 3 children in the party) and had a great disconnect from our hectic lives. Truly recommend staying here for a relaxing time and have a car (wrong side of road for me but quickly learned how to get around) to go to store and the many activities St Lucia has to offer.

This home was perfect for our family. Comfortable beds with air conditioning in all rooms upstairs with no need for air downstairs with being located on top of the mountain with perfect air flow . We loved having Claudette, the property manager set up pick up for our arrival and have Bertha arrive to cook breakfast during the week and take care of the rooms, the place kept clean each day . We loved Pigeon Island beach, rented chairs, and my husband and daughter loved the diving convenience there. Honestly, I could just stay at this home, enjoy the pool, venture out for dinners. Villa Ivrea, is like having a resort of it’s own and private gated access. The best lunch for our group was at “Naked Fishermen’s” and dinner at “The Cliff.” Pizza at Elana’s was good too! If I could give a place 10 stars on this review, would do that! The owner of this home, Lisa, went over and beyond with being helpful. We did not want to leave and look forward to returning. ❤️

Trip of a lifetime!! Beautiful Villa
This was a trip of a lifetime. Truly paradise. We saw humpback whales from the pool deck. Mom and baby jumping right before our eyes. Our daily walks around the tip of the island was the morning workout, followed by local banana and spinach smoothies to continue with the fitness. We visited the Hotel Chocolate, the coco plantations, Tet Paul Trail hike and zip-lining--could not have been better excursions. We have our memories in the photos and will cherish them. The many beaches in the area were fun to explore. So many restaurants to choose from and the Cap Estates golf course was an added plus. Had lunch and Sunday brunch at the golf course. Elena's pizza at the marina was outstanding. Bertha, the housekeeper, was fantastic and efficient. We did not think we needed her until she was on her day off. And the villa.......the views......unbelievable. The photos do not do this place justice. We got up early to enjoy the sunrise and see that grand body of water. Kids enjoyed the music poolside everyday. Martinique was so clear on a few days and we could even see the cars moving at night. Highly recommended villa and vacation!!!

Beautiful location for a peaceful and relaxing vacation!
The Villa was beautiful and the views of the Caribbean Sea AMAZING! It was a perfect place to get away for some sunshine and warmth in the middle of the US winter. Bertha and Claudette were great. Bertha even cooked us a traditional meal of Green Bananas and Salt Fish for lunch one day ... which was delicious!! Junior was also a great resource to help get us to/from the Villa as we needed for dinners and day trips. His son Eversly also requested to ride along to pick us up on numerous occasions which we found very flattering! I would strongly recommend Junior for your taxi needs (758-484-9037). A day trip to the southern portion of the island with a stop at Plas Kassav (for cassava bread), scenic views of the Pitons, Diamond Botanical Gardens, and a mud bath at Sulphur Springs are also a recommendation. Sunset dinner at Spinnaker's in Rodney Bay too! Our only negative was the beeping of the alarm system, which sounded nearly ever minute when it was not armed. It was a bit of annoyance but thankfully the peace of the location otherwise helped to distract us. We will definitely consider returning to St. Lucia and Villa Ivrea!

Our family enjoyed staying at Villa Ivrea very much. Bertha and Claudette were great, making sure we had everything we needed. The house has all upscale comforts and the views are simply outstanding (plus we had a full moon the last 2 days). It is located in a great neighborhood, close to all major attractions in the North. Amazing villa with Stunning Ocean Views
Our family just returned from our July 2017 vacation stay at this amazing villa. Upon arrival we were greeted by Claudette, with essential food items and rum punch already stocked in the fridge! Villa Ivrea (which truly is an estate) is located in exclusive Cap Estates on the north end of the island and literally sits on the mountain side with ocean views that can not be described or captured with a picture or words. The villa is beautifully appointed throughout, with all of the amenities, very spacious and comfortable. Not to mention the amazing infinity pool -- which we took full advantage in the afternoons. I also need to mention Bertha the friendly maid, whom provided cleaning service M-Sat. We have visited many islands in the Caribbean over the years, and by far this villa was the most luxurious and nicest of rental properties! The Rodney Bay area is within a 10 minute drive, and met all of our needs for restaurant choices, grocery stores, and novelty shops. We also found a picturesque beach & cove which turned out to be a great snorkel spot within a 10 minute drive (same beach as The Naked Fisherman restaurant). Wonderful & Beautiful!
Our family couldn't have enjoyed more our week in St. Lucia! The Villa Ivrea was extremely comfortable. The continual island breeze through the house was luscious. Bertha, the housekeeper, was a real help. We were connected with a driver Junior Auguste; he became a true friend and invaluable connection for our day excursions. We fit in as much adventure as we could in 7 days - boating, snorkeling, mud baths, rain forest hikes, horseback riding, zip-lining, fishing, dining in, dining out. Thank you for a very special week for the Spotts family!

Beautiful Villa! May 2017
We were a small party of 5 and we really enjoyed the Villa. The house manager, Ms. Claudette greeted us upon arrival and returned just before our departure to see us off. Ms. Bertha, the housekeeper, cooked breakfast for us each morning and was very pleasant and so quiet we hardly knew she was there. The Villa is beautiful and very well kept, not a cobweb or bit of dust or bugs anywhere. The pictures on the website do not do it justice, this place is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the views are magnificent. The one thing I would note, is hire a driver for your stay or rent a car as nothing is within walking distance and the Villa is located at the top of the mountain. We enjoyed the Villa so much that our first day there we didn't leave, spent the whole day by the pool! We can't wait to return! M. Russell, Ft. Washington, MD, USA

The perfect gem
If heaven ever existed in the world it would be named Villa Ivrea. From the time of booking up to my trip Lisa was awesome and she was always prompt to answer any questions which made booking this Villa stress free. Once we arrived we were given our warm St. Lucian welcome by Mrs. Claudette. The views from this Villa are some of the most amazing views you will ever witness. I traveled with my family of 6 and we had plenty of space. The pictures do not even come close! The villa is fully equiped with everything you will ever need as well as a fully stocked kitchen. Bertha our house keeper was amazing and a superb cook. She made us some of the best curry goat, acki, and red snapper we have ever tasted. And her rum punch was out of this world. Victor was one of the coolest drivers ever! My family really enjoyed him. He was always on time and the ultimate St Lucian driver and guide. He took us to some really cool spots and he made our trip feel very personal and memorable. He provided us with the perfect St Lucian experience. Beware though because this Villa is so beautiful you will not want to leave. The views overlooking the veranda will leave you speechless. We spent lots of time by the infinity pool taking in all the beauty this villa offered. Centrally located between the Carribean and Atlantic you get the best of both worlds. Being able to see St. Martinique from the villla was an added bonus. We are already planning our next trip . Lisa, Claudette, Bertha and Victor thank you all for making my 40th birthday celebration awesome.

No Words!!
Throughout ones lifetime hopefully you will get to travel abroad. The Villa Ivrea in Cap Estate St. Lucia should be a must in those plans. Ms. Warner and Bertha were nothing less than perfect!!! The views are breathtaking and the breeze on top of the hill is amazing. I think renting a car is a must but some prefer a taxi which is an option but driving on the left is easy once you adjust. No MOSQUITOS at the Villa. Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful home it made my 50th an absolutely joyous occasion!!

It was a real pleasure to have you celebrate at Villa Ivrea. We were honored to have been the venue for your memorable event. There are a few upgrades we have made to the villa to include an outdoor Mediterranean kitchen shaded by natural gift giving papaya trees. Bertha has been making wonderful smoothies as fruit is in season.

Wow! What an awesome place. Dinners with a view over the ocean and fresh sea air was fantastic.
This was a super nice place. We spent most of our time in the kitchen and outside near the pool. Everything you could need was in the kitchen. It was a very short drive to the beaches. Very short drive to the fish market. The people of st.lucia are very nice people. Overall this was a fantastic vacation for us and our kids. Highly recommend staying here.

Pictures don't do it justice! Absolute breathtaking views and gorgeous well-maintained home!!
I must say that we were blown away by the picturesque views! You can see Martinique in the distance as your sipping a nice cocktail pool-side. The pool was perfect for our party of 6 during the New Year's holiday! The house was truly well-maintained and super upscale! The kitchen and dining table was our focal point as we made breakfast and dinner and played many board games and made wonderful memories! The house sits up on top of Cap Estate so there's a beautiful breeze and no insects/flies at all! Can't say enough about Lisa, Claudette, and Bertha! They have all been very kind and courteous and made us feel at home. We will surely be back without a doubt! I highly HIGHLY recommend this villa if your in St. Lucia! You will NOT be disappointed. Thanks so much Lisa and team!
