“This was an amazing property. Everything was clean and inviting. Our kitchen had everything we could possibly need. They left a notebook with recommendations and instructions. Our dogs transitioned well and loved to walk around the lake. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area. Our only issue was the hard mattress. Neither of us could sleep on that. I suggest taking something cushy, like a thick sleeping bag. ”

“Great property. The pictures are exactly what you get. I would say that the living room is a little small for 5-6 people. So, we hung out in the primary bedroom to watch a movie all together on the night it rained. Also, be prepared to have a few bugs visit during your stay. The host left bug spray and a write up about it, but it was still annoying to have to spray and kill spiders and ants while on a vacay.”

“Place is really cool and unique. There are actually a lot more and better pictures on the "other" platform to get a better idea of the place. Be aware if you are older, the king is on a platform, so you kind of roll/crawl out of it... but worth it for the atmosphere of the master. All the decorations were tasteful and not overly over-the-top, which I liked. Kids, especially little girls I would think would love the upstairs. Great house. She has several other themed house I want to try as well...

“Beautiful place, clean inside and outside! The communication was great too! We were looking for Mountain View’s and some relaxation, and we were not disappointed!! Oh and the breakfast is Breakfast! Not muffins & coffee, First day we had blueberry cream cheese pancakes with eggs & sausage links! Second day was a spinach quiche! And they make their own sweet cream for coffee!! Hubby & I give Timberroot cottages a 10, a 5 stars and a big ol thumbs up!”
