We caught the northern lights two out of four nights. It’s a great base location to explore the Golden Circle sights. Vista I’m from the porch is spectacular. We had a great time there and would definitely go back. ”

“The place was relly nice! We got a clear view of the northern lights overhead which was amazing! The view of the horizon was slightly obstructed. But It was definitely secluded and out of the way. Only 4 stars because the highway lights shined almost directly into our window. The cottage was very hot. (Underfloor heating) with no way to turn off. And water had sulfur smell from the source (no fault of theirs), but it was off putting. ”

We had the perfect time: aurora borealis dancing over the sky, while we were soaking in the hot pot, lake and mountains covered in snow. The house is so nicely designed, so cosy and lovely.
