“The Hekla Cabins are three, wonderful little cabins just off one of the main roads through the area. The cabin comfortably fit two, but there's a pullout couch (at least in Cabin One) for an additional sleeper. The kitchen has a small fridge and a stovetop, and the bathroom has a shower with plenty of hot water (WiFi was also available). “We started our Iceland holiday with first 2 nights stay at cabin 5A. I’m glad we did as it set the bar really high and at the end of our 9 day trip, the family unanimously agreed this was our favourite accommodation in the entire trip! Cabin had everything we needed, extremely clean, hosts were v responsive, and being in open lands (yet near enough to nearby towns), we were treated to 2 nights of auroras when we were there!! The hot tub brought so much joy too, can’t wait to be back! ”
