The room was big and we had a beautiful view on the back forest. We had two choices of Onsen (outside and inside) and both were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for us. Because there was not of other guest, we were able to have one side of the Onsen for us instead of being separated man and woman.

“My partner and I are experienced travelers, but unfortunately, we found this hotel to be quite disappointing considering its price. Here’s why:
• Our room wasn’t cleaned when we returned at 5 pm. Surprisingly, the reception staff claimed that we had declined cleaning for environmental reasons, even though no one asked us during check-in. We had to request them to at least clean the garbage, change the towels and give us two bottles of water (seems like greenwashing).

"The staff was not shy of attempting to utilize English while helping foreign visitors, which was a great help when my Japanese couldn't help. The staff working in the restaurant, both during breakfast and dinner, were incredibly helpful, kind, and forthcoming when trying to converse.
