“Friendly hospitable staff that spoke good English. Rooms were a decent size and quality, little steep on price but put that down for the peak of winter. Breakfast was included but a bit basic (set meal of mostly eggs and bacon/sausage, had basic cereal available too). Coffee was decent by Aus standards and was quite close to the pub for dinner/afternoon drinks after shredding on the mountain. Will try to aim for a place near Happo or Echoland next time as it was a bit painful to get to and from...

“Nice hostel near on the way up to Hakuba Rogyu ski park. No snow on mid december when we arrived, however the host did inform us the situation. No activities during winter if no snow, a lot of empty home stay or not open, we are the only guest during our stay. Room need renovation especially no heating seat on room wc during freezing night unless you go to public toilet. Need to drive on own if stay in this hostel.”
