Hotell nära Hammonds-Keeley Preserve

“Fantastic hotel. Everything was clean , and well maintained. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel shows it age, but they do a great job keeping everything up to date. Breakfast was your traditional continental breakfast, but tasted great and fresh. The pool was warm and I enjoyed that they keep it open until 10pm. I was able to take a quick dip after dinner. The pool is a heated as well.”

“The reviews of this place are incredibly polarizing. Some people think it is the worst place they have ever seen. Others think of it as a twee little time capsule, an example of the pocono mountains in their former glory. The truth is a bit in between, though it is, in cat the worst place I have ever stayed. (And I am a sucker for cheap motels) You can see evidence of its former glory. It seems kinda clean, but it is very run down. Whoever runs this place has done a number of shoddy repairs....

“First and foremost Split Rock did not make me aware that we were staying separately from the actual hotel. This may have been a blessing because the hotel seems like its falling apart. Everything is old and needs to be updated. The place is so dirty and things donts even work. I was very disappointed with the experience and will not be returning. The waterpark was horrendous”

“It was a bad location, because of the difficulties finding it since it doesn't have any address. The room was clean although the carpet should be changed, and the blankets of the bed. We were in the woods, and you definitely need a car! The staff was friendly but sometimes we felt a certain observation from them, that made us feel uncomfortable. No breakfast, but there is a McDonald's in about 2 miles from there, next to the ramp to the highway. One night was ok, but we wouldn't stay here again.”

“Fantastiskt ställe. Mysigt boende, fin omgivning. Bra och relativt billig mat och dryck på Nicks Restaurang vid vattnet med livemusik (i alla fall denna fredag vi bodde här). Fick inget meddelande om hur vi skulle checka in men väl på plats fanns ett liten office med ett telefonnr. Ringde det och de fjärröppnade rummet. Nycklarna finns sen på rummet. Enkel utcheckning. Bara ett sms om att man checkat ut och lämnat nycklarna på rummet. Skön queensize säng, ok AC, lite dåligt vattentryck i...

“I was surprise I visited this hotel years ago. But I was not expecting it to be updated They had a pool, jacuzzi and a wonderful breakfast I will be returning.”
