Sean greeted us at the property, handed us slippers and showed us round. Even brought us 2 chairs for the patio when we asked. We felt we were in a 5* hotel and a little bit nervous of living up to the exacting standards...every surface was covered, even the sofa. Notices everywhere! Despite that we loved every minute. Only things missing..a dish...

“An excellent little lodge for 2 down a short walk from the local village. The place was superbly equipped with everything needed for our stay. Only slight problem - the sofas and chairs were a little too low to the ground! Otherwise it was lovely and we really enjoyed our stay.”

Long gone. Welcome basket? Dont hold your breath. Plenty of supplies befitting a luxury place? Not if you count 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper, a half roll of paper towels, no replacement garbage bags and no laundry detergent for a week's stay as ample. “Nice house looking out onto beautiful little beach. A lot of sheep which meant little lambs everywhere this time of year. Friendly neighbours! Tip: go to Handa (approx. 45 min. drive) for a very special hike on this remote bird island.”
