“We had a delightful stay. The fire was cozy and heated the space well but there were also plenty of warm blankets for anyone who needed extra. We would happily stay again!”

“We really enjoyed our stay in Hanmer. Very comfortable and warm. Be sure to light the fire - it made it so cosy.”

“The property was warm, inviting and clean. Communication with host was great. We had all that we needed. Close to hanmer village. We would definitely return.”

“Lovely place to stay!”

“A thoroughly wonderful spot - clean, modern, spacious, comfortable, peaceful, very well appointed inside and out. All communication is very prompt, helpful, thoughtful and clear. It's clear that a great deal of thought and consideration has gone into every aspect of hosting at Totara Lodge. My only regret is that we could only book for 2 nights! Thank you very much :)”

“We had fantastic communication with the host and due to an unexpected and traumatic family situation Kylie was wonderful and took a human approach which was so very appreciated. The home was well appointed and very well presented. Everything was just as we expected from the description; the spa was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable and the heart pump and fire meant the whole house was able to be kept warm. We would recommend this lovely log cabin in this most beautiful spot and stay...

“Great place, amazing views!”

“Amazing house in an idyllic setting, with everything you need for a great holiday”
