“Hi we only had one night here sadly. I’m from Christchurch and was with Wellington family. We had never ventured here before and wow the view is unmatched. Our favourite moments were wandering the nearby track to the lighthouse at sunset and enjoying breakfast on the deck (which is right in the shore) as the sun streamed in. Owner was very helpful and was open to hearing our suggestions on some tweaks. Comfortable beds and couch with a well supplied kitchen.”

“52 Matai St was everything we needed for our short stay in Te Anau. Warm and inviting right in the heart of town. A short and easy walk to the town centre and the lake.Will definitely be back when we can!!!”

“The location is perfect. It is a short, picturesque drive from Dunedin's CBD, giving you easy access to the rest of the peninsular. The house is nestled amongst trees on a very large section, which adds to feeling that you have escaped the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The layout of the house is quirky and fun. The lounge is super comfortable and contains an extensive library of interesting books. I wish I had booked for longer.”

“We loved our stay at Leigh Family Bach! A spacious place the whole family could relax in. We loved the size of the 2 main bedrooms, great for teens! The extra room outside suited our older son and the bedroom off the kitchen suited hubby and I to a T. Great communication with Nigel. Holiday went off without a hitch! ”

“Great location! Few minor maintenance issues which should be addressed. Lighting is not very good especially in lounge area. Place does smell musty. Would benefit from extra cooking facilities or BBQ. Overall good experience.”
