“The house overlooks Loch Erisort in a beautiful, quiet setting. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortably furnished with a better equipped kitchen than is found in many rental properties. We found it a good location for visiting Stornoway, the west coast of Lewis, and Harris. The local area to the south and east is also worth exploring. We had a meal at the local hotel which was pleasant, but, we thought pretty expensive, so wouldn’t really recommend that. ”

“Joan's house is very spacious, well equipped, and perfectly located within 10 mins walk from the local shops (provisions, crafts and tweed) and the local restaurant, deli, ButtyBus, harbour and lochs. Thee ideal base location from which to explore by vehicle, bike, or on foot. Slept like logs, all of us. Fab kitchen for eating and socialising with friends, with really good decking out back and village and loch views to the front. Gorgeous sunsets, depending on the weather. Stay, relax,...

“We loved this cozy cottage. Quiet and clean. It looks just like the pictures. My wife's favorite spot was the sitting area in the bedroom window. She sat and read enjoyed the sea view. By the end of our stay we had drove all around Isle of Skye. Felt very safe when the storm Floris came through. The house never creaked once. We loved this beautiful countryside and have many pictures and memories to take with us. Thank you for sharing your cottage made our 40th Anniversary a great one.”
