There is a sweet view of the sound, and a very pretty garden with wild deer visitors in the evening and birds in the morning. Quick note for anyone who might want to cook—the kitchen set up is pretty bare bones, you may want to bring some of your own things. ”

“The property was amazing, it was quaint and quiet. I was able to sit out on the front porch at morning drinking coffee and just soaking up the refreshing cool air. Bonnie was wonderful and had Homemade Strawberry Bread waiting for us, we devoured the whole thing. It was close enough to things we wanted to do and to any food choices we had. I can't wait to go back.”

“We had a great time here. You have private lake access for Kokanee and Cushman and the apartment has everything you need. It's quiet and out of the way but only a few minutes to Hoodsport. Great for kids or just a quiet adult get away. We will be back here. ”

“I went up to tacoma for work and this place was so clean and nice. I needed to extend my stay for one night and the owners were so helpful. It was quiet and felt very private especially for the price. Ill try to stay here again if its not booked”

“Everything you see on the picture is different from what's the apartment look like. No AC or fan. The bed is different from what's on the picture, I couldn't sleep and I had to go book another hotel and left same day because the heat is unbearable and he opened all the windows that allow flies and mosquitoes to enter the apartments, no towel in the bathroom and everything look unkempt, I will not recommend it. That's why he said no refundable but I will get my money back from my bank anyway...

“Such an Amazing gem of a retreat! The cozy boat house had everything we needed to enjoy a taste of living right on the water and close enough to town to enjoy all Gig Harbor and greater SeaTac area has to offer.We stayed for 5 nights arriving on the 4th of July and enjoyed viewing fireworks in the distance from our private deck and soaking in the beautiful summer weather.The kitchenette is nicely appointed and we enjoyed making breakfast and a couple of dinners/grilling. “The apartment was exactly as pictured. Eveything was great. I was in Lakewood to visit family. We took full advantage of the outdoor spaces including the grill and boat dock. The lake is beautiful and we had many great conversations while taking in the peaceful views.In the apartment, the kitchen was well stocked, the bed was comfortable and the shower had fantastic water pressure.
