“This property is beautifully decorated and the deck brings wonderful morning views. It's peaceful at night and star gazing is perfect from the deck. Barking dogs in the community can be a bit intrusive but it doesn't last too long. The hot tub on the deck is very relaxing. The location wasn't ideal for travel to and from Berkeley Springs, but was doable. The property seems to need a little more upkeep besides basic cleaning but the owner is extremely responsive and interested in correcting any...

“This cabin needs a LOT of care. It was OK for our purposes, because we just needed a place to sleep more than anything, but if we were actually looking to "vacation" or "rest and relax" it left a lot to be desired--especially regarding upkeep and how it was furnished 1. Our sheets had HOLES in them! 2. No toiletries, other than body wash in the bathroom 3. No bath mat 4. Insufficient towels 5. Not enough dishes or mugs 6. No sponge for washing dishes, or anything to clean and wipe down...

“I was a little put off by the smell of dogs, i actually got spray from the store. All thr coffee mug except one had broken handles and all of the chairs around fire put were broken. Hot tub was fine but i was under the impression it was more excluded than it was. I was actually a little disappointed unfortunately. ”

There is a lot of junk in the woodshed and in the yard that lent the entire property the feeling of being rundown. Also, there's a lot more cleaning that could be done.
