Great location just a few blocks from the city center but in a quiet and safe neighborhood. A cozy early 20th century apartment with high ceilings, old wooden floors, a wooden loft and an open street view with a bay window.
Sights such as the National Museum, Parliament House, Olympic Stadium, Temppeliaukio Church, Suomi Hall, Helsinki Music Center and the opera are nearby. You can see a church, a cheese shop and a local grocery store from the window of the apartment.
Status
The apartment is perfect for one or two persons with a double bed (150 cm wide) on the loft and a comfortable sofa bed that can be made into a bed for 1-2 people (140 cm wide) and you have a dining table in front of the bay window. The windows can be opened, and the table is expandable. The apartment has an open kitchen.
There are pillows, blankets, sheets and towels. Please note that the stairs to the loft are very steep, so please let me know when you book if you would prefer the bed on the sofa.
In the living room there is a 40 inch HD screen TV (with two HDMI ports and a slot for a CI card) and two speakers and a home theater system with a radio.
The kitchen has a fridge/freezer (disguised as a cupboard under the loft), microwave, coffee/teamaker (Dolce Gusto pods), toaster, dough rolling machine, 2-plate stove/oven, pots, pans, plates, glasses, etc. You will find a basket for your picnics on the loft.
Please note that the bathroom/toilet is small including the shower. There is a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Toilet paper, shower gel and shampoo are provided.
There is a laundry room in the house.
Other considerations
I or someone else will meet you at the apartment to deliver the keys or a key pick up will be arranged.
