Elegant timmerhus vid Main Lake - ponton, kajaker, pizzaugn

"The Lodge at Lake Gaston" Àr ett vackert hus med timmerstuga med utsikt över en miljon dollar. 4 sovrum plus loft hem, belÀget vid vattnet i huvudsjön Gaston nÀra ingÄngen till Pea Hill Creek. Lake Gaston ligger precis vid NC / VA-statens linje och förklarades nyligen till sjön tillflyktsort # 1 över USA av BuzzFeed och dess lÀsare.

Stort dubbelbÄthus med spiraltrappa som leder till ett soldÀck (brukade vara en helipad!). BÄthuset Àr redo för skojs skull med massor av solstolar, förrÄd (med barfönster), ljudsystem och vattenrutschbana! Stort omrÄde vid vattnet (skott) med djupt vatten (5-6 fot). Den svagt sluttande trÀdgÄrden har en stor sten eldstad & pizzaugn. Vi har ocksÄ en gas-Weber-grill och rökare (bÄda kopplade till centralt hus propan).

Detta hem har en öppen planlösning; kök, vardagsrum och matsal kombination, öppen spis och 2 master sviter, plus halv badrum och tvĂ€ttstuga pĂ„ huvudnivĂ„n. Franska dörrar frĂ„n vardagsrum och sovrum öppna för stor tĂ€ckt veranda med underbar utsikt över sjön Gaston och bĂ„thuset. Öppna loftomrĂ„det pĂ„ övervĂ„ningen har utsikt över vardagsrummet och har utsikt över sjön, extra sovrum (inget fönster) pĂ„ övervĂ„ningen.

GÄ ner för att njuta av rekreationsomrÄdet med full bar, bÀnkskivor i granit, gammaldags arkadspel, Tornado foosball, ping pong och TV / surround sound-up. Stora sovrum med tvÄ uppsÀttningar vÄningssÀngar (bÄda tvÄ över hela) Àr perfekt för mÄnga barn eller en hel familj.

Min svogers pontonbÄt ligger dockad vid huset och finns att hyra av honom (varje vecka eller dagligen). Om du Àr intresserad av pontonen kan jag sÀtta dig direkt i kontakt med honom. Det finns ocksÄ flera smÄbÄtshamnar i omrÄdet som hyr bÄtar och vattenskidor.

Vi har en paddelbÄt och kajaker (1 tandem kajak för vuxna och 2 kajaker för ungdom / smÄ vuxna) som Àr tillgÀngliga för hyresgÀster att anvÀnda (utan extra kostnad).

Huset Àr bekvÀmt för alla bÄtliv och shopping behov. PÄ huvudsjön, men ocksÄ nÀra de mer lugna vikarna i Pea Hill Creek. 5 minuter frÄn livsmedelsbutiken Food Lion, Dollar General och Ace Hardware.

Loved Lodge at the Lake!

Thank you!We had a wonderful stay at "The Lodge at the Lake" Everything was so nice! We loved the cleanliness, the design, the well-stocked kitchen.. all three levels. Bedrooms attractive, beds and linens comfy! The amenities were fantastic inside and out... your attention to detail and condition are to be noted! The outdoor spaces are exemplary and well maintained. The boathouse is amazing with all kinds of great seating upstairs and down.. loved the equipment for so many water sports
 an absolute fantastic place to stay!

Family Vacation

We had a great week! This home was a perfect set up for our family vacation. The porch, dock, yard, fire pit and pizza oven were perfect for an enjoyable week. The house is very clean and well appointed with all things we needed to host/entertain our family. The hosts were very responsive to questions - we did NOT have any issues with the home at all! We would definitely recommend this property!

Family Vacation 2024

This house was so amazing, and we enjoyed every aspect of it! We had a gorgeous week, a few rain storms, but it didn’t put a damper on our week at all. We loved the pizza ovens, and it was so much fun making and creating our very own pizza’s. The boat was an added bonus, we fished, and took some sunset cruises, it was amazing. The guys took a half day charter catfish boat out, and the charter picked them up right at the dock. Only one very large catfish was caught, so we made a great fried catfish lunch from it, and it was so delicious. Thanks for a great week, it was totally amazing. Will definitely be returning❀

Great week with family

We had an amazing time enjoying the beautiful property. Coffee on the porch or the dock was an absolute delight every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed for nights in, and we were close enough to the grocery store and restaurants to have easy access to whatever we needed. The game room was fun for all - kids and adults! The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious for all. Our favorite part of the whole property was the beautiful dock. We definitely hope to be back soon!

Great vacation house!

Great stay

Great communication with owner and great amenities and extras made this place a wonderful vacation spot. Everything is well labeled, directions on everything was clear, and the house was clean and perfectly laid out. We loved relaxing at the boathouse and using the canoe and paddle board. The hammock chairs were amazing and we had plenty of chairs and space for everyone. The grill was great and we spent each night hanging out on the back deck. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place to stay

The Lodge was exactly as advertised. It was very well stocked and very well organized. The labeling and information was excellent. The interior was so comfortable and accommodations were excellent. The log beds on the main floor were a true work of art. The privacy of the accommodations from one floor to the next was incredible. We would rent this property again, for family and friends of all ages, without any hesitation.

Girlfriends get away

Great house for us! Kitchen is well stocked, very nice bed linens and pillows, beds are very comfortable, great seating both inside and outside. We enjoyed watching the stunning sunrises from the porch, and relaxing on the boat dock. Had a fun fire pit evening, and were able to take out the double person kayak for a short jaunt around the lake. So many fun things to do both inside and outside the house. Something that I did not see in the description of the house or the pictures was the dinning table which was a very nice table with seating for at least 10. Very easy access to the driveway from River Rd, however there is a little noise from the traffic on River Rd that can be heard only when outside. Would definitely come back!

Lake Gaston getaway

Property and house are neat and clean and very comfortable for all ages. Lots of places to gather or go off and read. Boat dock is well equipped and fishing/swimming is good. Our only concern was the traffic noise-not use to being so close to a main heavy traveled road. Had a super vacation.

Great house

This was our fifth time staying at Lake Gaston and this was the best house. The owners thought of everything. We have no complaints at all! The pizza oven was a cherry on the cake. The large drink cooler on the dock was a big hit with the adults. We didn’t have to buy ice once. I highly recommend staying at this house, you won’t be disappointed!

5 Star Experience

So much to say about this beautiful home right on the shores of Lake Gaston. Let's start with the location, tucked just off the main lake, the dock is protected, mostly calm and very safe for floating in the water with your friends. And the views from the house and the dock are just open water. The most relaxing expanse of water you could hope for. The dock is also nicely spaced from the neighbors, so you feel a since of privacy, which we really enjoyed. If you rent a boat, the gas dock is literally a 5 minute slow ride away. Nothing could be more convenient. And the house is exactly as advertised. Very log-cabin-ish. With every item in the kitchen that you need for cooking delicious home cooked meals, sharing them either at the large dining room table or on the wrap around porch just beyond the living room. Beds were extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail for renters was the best we have ever experienced. Every light switch, shelf and utility labeled perfectly - so never any issues with operating appliances, lights or where to return things when done. This made the experience feel more welcoming and less stressful than rental houses can sometimes be. Additionally, Lisa was incredibly informative. Responded quickly to any inquiries, even though, once we got there, we didn't have a care in the world. Instructions for arrival/departure were very clear and not at all cumbersome. It was a 5 star experience, house and lake! Would rent again for sure!

Beautiful house

We have stayed at several VRBO's on Lake Gaston and this one is soooooooo nice!! The house is beautiful! It is nicely decorated and has a well supplied kitchen! All six teenagers loved the down stairs! It was nice to be able to rent the pontoon and not have to go to the marina! We will be back!

Great Home in Lake Gaston!

Home was well equipped, easy to get to, and convenient to the nearby public boat launch for our boat. We appreciated the many activities that were included, and used them all! Had a great time using the paddle boat, kayak, stand-up paddle board, slide, ping-pong table, fire pit, and pizza oven. Our entire family felt very comfortable in the home, and the owner was easy to contact with any questions we had. We will definitely be back again!

Book it, you won’t regret it!

Amazing property. Perfect location on the lake, tranquil views. Perfect place to relax and unwind. Our entire family had a wonderful time. Our kids, ranging from teenagers to 6 years old had a blast. Great fishing. And lots of fun water toys, including kayaks, paddle boat and paddle boards, to make vacation extra special. House well stocked with everything you can need.
