“This house fit all 9 of us comfortably. The old house is a little creaky, but has lots of character. Having three bathrooms was a plus! It has absolutely everything. All the kitchen stuff you would need, lots a games and puzzles, a large deck and yard with lots of outdoor furniture and even a propane heater and fire table. We stayed there for my son's wedding at Thornewood Castle, and my whole family had a great time.”

“The house is located in a semi-secluded area that is amazingly peaceful and has wonderful views. The boat house provided a perfect viewing area to watch some seals that were playing on and around a floating dock. It was a great experience for the three of us friends to get together.”

Carl is super kind and friendly. This is one of the first homes I have stayed in where I didn't feel it was missing anything. “Our 3rd visit - to relax and enjoy the lake front getaway. How often can you make everybody happy? Smiles from the teenager (Kayak and swim is next, no time to text). Smiles from the wife (read/take in the rays/sun), Smiles from the dog (walks/room to run). Heck even dad was caught smiling (coffee/and a view, eve on the dock w a brew)….”

“Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!”
