The kitchen was stocked with anything you could need to prepare meals, including a variety of cookbooks. We enjoyed watching the Durango Silverton train go right by a couple of times a day. “We stayed in this beautiful home because it was supposed to be fully fenced and pet friendly. The owner did allow our 2 mini schnauzers, but we had to walk them down the driveway to the road to use the bathroom everytime. It was supposed to be fenced but I couldnt let my dogs out because I can't control when and where they will pee or poop. The house does have a small beautiful yard and flowers and a great porch to sit out on at night.”

“It was Mesa Verde that brought us to the area, and the view of the mesa from the yurt can't be beat! The yurt was clean and comfy with every amenity we wanted. We joked that it was like a Harry Potter tent- looks smaller from the outside, but there was plenty of room when we got in for all 6 of our adults/teens. When we did need to contact the owners, they were very responsive and helpful. Truly a lovely place to stay.”
