“A nice little guest house, with everything you need for a few nights of stay: A comfy bed, toilet and a shower (and a coin laundry). Allthough all anemities are shared with others, it was never crowded, so you can easily do what you need to do in your own time. The staff was also helpful with anything I needed. Hot tip: Bring your ear plugs, as there are som reccuring noices outside (and a screaming child from within). A good nice stay overall.”

“Vi fick strömavbrott två första nätterna, och hade cirka 10° på rummet på morgonen, men han som städade rummen var fantastisk och hjälpte oss prata med managern. Väldigt trevligt rum och bra faciliteter! ”

“När vi bokade trodde jag vi skulle hamna närmre Fuji, men inte, detta ligger i ett eget område (Hakone) vilket inte alls var helt tokigt tågresan dit var en upplevelse i sig. Områdets pass för 2 eller 3 dagar är en god investering. Nu hade vi lite otur att det var mulet men man skulle ha kunnat se Fuji från sjön när man tog en båttur och från Linbanan. Alla färdsätt ingår i områdets pass (Tåg, Buss, Bergbana, Båt och Linbana). Båtturen tog vi ändå men linbanan var tyvärr avstängd pga aktivitet...

“Bemötandet var bra och trevligt. Dubbelrummen är dock fruktansvärda. Klaustrofobiska och små, för att inte tala om fruktansvärt mörka utan rimlig belysning. Vi uppgraderade till ett King size-rum högre upp (hörnrum) och det var fint med ljusinsläpp från stort fönster och större ytor att röra sig på. Så ta en sånt rum om ni ska bo här. Falsk marknadsföring att det ska finnas ”fullständigt spa” på detta hotell för det gör det inte. Restaurangen/frukost dessutom stängd av oklart anledning ”

“The staff were very nice. Bushi-san was busy on my day of arrival (they have a lot of activities in Kamakura), but they left me a welcome packet with all the information. I met Bushi-san the morning after for breakfast. I also got to meet Yoko-san. She was very kind. The guesthouse is small, and the building is old and charming. I slept on a futon in a room equipped with tatamimats and traditional screen doors. It was amazing to sleep in a traditional room. The futon is perhaps on the thinner...

“The property is really beautiful; gorgeous views, stunning room, and the private onsen is incredible. Absolutely no feedback on the room, grounds, staff, property, etc all amazing! It’s nice that dinner and breakfast are included given that you are quite a walk uphill from Gora and other restaurants. The food is presented in a beautiful setting and the service was wonderful. That being said, the food itself left much to be desired and given the price, we expected it to taste better. ”
