“The house was perfect for a short stay in Saugatuck. We were able to walk to downtown where our dog Chara loved the walks along the dock of the Kalamazoo river. We also enjoyed ice cream at Kilwins and coffee at Uncommon Grounds. Also, we loved the hiking trails at Saugatuck Dunes State Park which is just a short drive away. This place is perfect for a couple with a dog. Thanks for such a nice dog friendly space.”

“We had a family wedding and it was perfect for having a few of my family members for dinner. It’s comfortable and cozy, yet plenty of room to never feel crowded. Well stocked towels and kitchen utensils. We enjoyed the screened porch. Beach is a short distance away. Definitely going to rent again.”

“This is a plesant cottage grouping with the host living on premises and keeping the landscaping looking very nice. We missed the peak of the tulips, which is why we chose this area to begin with. It was my wifes birthday and she has never seen the beauty of Holands tulips. Early warm and then a storm left everything pretty much destroyed......BUT......we did visit Windmill Island and ordered some tulips for us to enjoy at home......i am digressing......the property, cottage and surrounding area...

“Our stay here was perfect. Very very clean!!! There were 3 girls who stayed here for a qirls weekend away. Each bedroom had its own bathroom! The hot tub was lovely. The walk to the downtown area is not far at all! We couldnt get the fireplace to work while there, that is the only "negative" part of my review. However, by no means would it prevent us from renting this home again in the future. The staff was very responsive and tried trouble shooting that issue with us and even created a work...

“This property is beautiful, especially in springtime when all the marsh/river critters are active! Binoculars provided (a wonderful touch), prepare to birdwatch. There is one neighbor with a hot tub you can almost see from the backyard, otherwise it is very secluded and private. Did not bother us one bit. Very clean and all the comforts of home provided, the perfect place to get away and enjoy nature. Download the Merlin bird app, you won't be disappointed!! Thanks for a wonderful stay!”

“This was our second stay at Jan's Cottage, and it was just as we remembered it. Check in was easy and the place was clean when we arrived. The hosts are friendly and responsive and you can tell take good care of the property, including a well maintained yard w/sitting area that we would have enjoyed if it was a little warmer outside. It is located on a quiet street that is the perfect location to downtown shops/restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!”

“This little cottage is convenient and charming. It is only a 2 minute walk to restaurants and shops, and a 5 minute drive to Oval Beach. The cottage itself has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the two decks for morning coffee and afternoon snacks & drinks. Josh is very helpful, as well.”

“This large house sits on the bluff of a gorgeous setting. We were here in May so we could see the lake perfectly. The house is a bit older and shows wear of a well-loved home that occurs from lots of use and some stress from elements of the weather. The deck is brand new and offers a great place to enjoy the lake views. The beach was huge and beautiful. Lots of stairs! We didn't need the upstairs of the home at all but saw there were plenty of beds for kids and other adults. Would go again just...
