Good walking cabin
This is a great location and the home is Very good! Only two issues: Road work all week in the street to the home (on a cul de sac), and the upstairs doesn't have a ceiling fan, so was warmer. We had bears one night too, opened all the car doors!

Scenery was absolutely gorgeous ; home was very homey and big. We enjoyed all 6 days.

Fantastic vacation home for a family reunion
The group of us included people from four different cities, and we were all happy to have this home as our vacation home. The home is at the end of a residential street and neighbors a large wooden area with a remote feel. The house was stocked well with everything we needed, and the hot tub was a hit. Our only surprise was that two of the showers (out of four bathrooms total) had clear glass without privacy until the windows condensed over. We thought that was a bit odd and funny, but it was not a problem since there were two showers with complete privacy. We would book this home again for a repeat vacation.

A great cabin!
We had no issues come up during our stay at this house. It was as advertised and worked wonderfully for us to stay with two other families. Walls were surprisingly sound-proof which was a huge plus given that we had several children all on different nap schedules.

Enjoyable experience at Timberland
Beautiful clean home with a nice layout in a perfect location. Our family enjoyed our stay and would rent this home again

Great House!
Timberland was a wonderful place to stay! The house is beautiful and accommodated three generations of our family very comfortably. It is the best equipped house that we’ve ever rented, and conveniently located to Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley. Would definitely choose to rent it again in the future!

Very adequate and comfortable.
We had a great family visit. It was very cold weather but the house was nicely heated. The kitchen was furnished well with cookware and dishes. WiFi, tv and dvd worked w/o difficulty.The only suggestion for improvement would be new mattresses for some of the beds.

Thank you so much for your your review- we are glad that you found the property to be well adorned. Because bedding and mattresses can fall in such a wide range of personal preference, it can be difficult to find a mattress that will please everyone. While the mattresses are of quality, we apologize if they were not to your liking!

Great Home For Families
The house was fantastic. We stayed there with another family. The house is spacious and well appointed. The location is good for skiing and easy access to Tahoe City for restaurants. I highly recommend it.
