Horton Plains National Park Sri Lanka. We got up at 4am to do a 9km hike to the top for the most fantastic views ever. This view s only available for a few hours in the morning before the mist comes in. I think It was called Worlds End #National Park

This was about 6am, when the park had just opened, beautiful colours everywhere. The water was so still it looked like a pond. Well worth the 9km hike! #National Park

Omgivningen direkt vid hotellet Àr mycket trafikerad dagtid, lugnare pÄ natten dÄ istÀllet svÄrt att se var man gÄr pga dÄlig gatubelysning. Hotellets vÀnliga personal, bra service, rummets bekvÀmlighet vÀger mer Àn den trafikerade gatan. ett par minuter bort finns allt som behövs för shopping, mat och relativt nÀra tÄgstationen Colombo Fort. Vill man inte gÄ finns tuk tuk taxi överallt. Kontinental frukost men vÀl tilltagen: omelett, rostat bröd, kaffeTe, smaksatt mjölk, youghurt, fÀrskpressad juice och fÀrsk frukt vackert dekorerad pÄ en grillpinne. Vatten i flaska pÄ rummet varje dag. Möjlighet att vÀrma vatten för te/kaffe pÄ rummet. KylskÄp. Bra AC. Wifi fungerar perfekt varje dag. Tv pÄ rummet bÄde mÄnga internationella kanaler och film frÄn HBO. Personalen Àr alltid vÀnliga och Àven om jag ankom pÄ morgonen fick jag mitt rum direkt. Om jag ÄtervÀnder till Colombo Äterkommer jag mer Àn gÀrna till detta hotell. Bra boende till mycket bra pris!

The road from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya is full of turns, deceptively long and passes some of the largest tea plantations in the world. Truth be told, driving anywhere in the hill country of Sri Lanka is an exercise in patience given that even short distances can take hours due to slow moving traffic, poor weather or less than desirable roads. Better then to sit back and enjoy the ride while stopping for the occasional picture.
