“Property was amazing- it was even better than the pictures. House is on the outskirts of Salida (but quick 10 min drive into town), and offers privacy and beautiful mountain views. It comes equipped with everything you need to enjoy the stay, and clear instruction on how to work everything in the house. Highlights were the amazing deck and hot tub. The host was quick to respond to all inquiries, and helped make the stay perfect. One thing to note is that it is a dirt road up to the house which...

“The supposed game room was an old dirty garage with a rock floor and a lot of dirty items. We locked it up and didn’t use it. No dishwasher as advertised. Dining table is worn and the dining bench is broken. Quite drafty but very historical. Outside grounds need grass because of the mud and a perimeter fence by the river for safety. Could be cute with a few improvements.”

“McNifftyville was an awesome home for our short stay in Salida. The rooms were all inviting, creatively decorated, and comfortable. The kitchen was beautiful and so well stocked. The icing on the cake was the beautiful backyard where we relaxed on the large covered patio in the certified wildlife habitat and got to see so many species of birds. If we ever need a place to stay in Salida again, we will certainly return to McNifftyville.”
