“Wren provided us ample space and comfort for our 3 night stay. We really enjoyed our stay. On arrival at the cottage we found a welcome basket with teas, coffee, hot chocolates, biscuits and even a couple of small bottles of wine as well as a bottle of milk in the fridge. A lovely touch. As I was unpacking the car one of the property owners from the nearby property came over to welcome us and check everything was ok and told us the they had already lit the hot tub and it should be ready for us...

“We have been to many lodges but this has got to be the best one we have stayed at, newly refurbished and my god you can sure tell… we loved every minute of our stay, inside was very cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and red hot for all of our weeks stay. We enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife whilst sat on the swing in the day and at night. We wouldn’t hesitate on coming back to this lodge site.”

“Absolutely beautiful little cottage! Perfect for what we wanted and fully enclosed garden for our little dog! Nice and roomy for the two of us who fancied a few days seeing the sights of York. “This was our second visit to this lovely cottage. It is very quaint and cosy. The setting is very peaceful - lots of birds singing and rabbits in the field. There is a busy road next to the cottage but that didn’t detract from the feeling of tranquility. The hot tub is fabulous. It’s a great base to explore the local area. It’s so easy to get a bus into Pocklington which is a lovely market town with good shops, pubs and restaurants. We had a great holiday and will definitely come back in...

“3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. Bathroom downstairs. All amenities are easy to use. Very relaxing for us in our 70s. Communication from Cottages.com is excellent.Highly recommended.”

“David was an excellent host, and the cottage was a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable accommodation close to local amenities and a lovely canal to walk down with pooch right outside the door. Although there is no designated parking, street parking is a 10 second walk away, so this wasn't an issue. There was even a guitar on the wall to have a relaxing noodle. Thanks again David”

“Mulberry lodge was everything we imagined it to be, we had such a great time away, days were broken up playing pool & darts and relaxed in the hot tub In between. The lodge is immaculate & could smell how clean it was from opening the door. Little touches everywhere you look from cushions to pictures & floral effects over the hot tub, really sets the lodges apart from other places! Can’t wait to return!”

“We had a lovely 3 night stay in the Bluebell shepherds hut. The accommodation was well equipped, and beautifully decorated. We couldn't have asked for a comfier bed! The hot was an added treat and just as lovely in the drizzle!Only thing that could be improved is better Wi-Fi connection, it is there, just intermittent. Sue was a delight to be welcomed by and had we needed anything, I have no doubt we would have received it quickly.”

"Rent och fräscht rum (lite snålt att vatten/kaffefaciliteter ej fylldes på dygn 2). God frukost med bra men inte överdådigt utbud. Luftkonditionering ej i funktion. Bra med parkering i garage bredvid hotellet, om än något dyrt. Perfekt läge!"
