âWir hatten einen holprigen Start. Wir waren mĂŒde vom Laufen und als wir unser Zimmer bezogen, sahen wir, dass dies vergessen wurde zu putzen. Der Chef persönlich hat dies dann nachgeholt und es war schlussendlich alles sauber und in Ordnung.
Das Essen im Restaurant Abends und das FrĂŒhstĂŒcksbuffet war sehr gut und reichhaltig. â
âI arrived just after 8pm and was personally and kindly welcomed to The Old School House. After a long dayâs walk, I was offered a drink, which was much appreciated. My bags were taken to my room, and I was given a tour of the property.Breakfast was homely and delicious, and I enjoyed meeting some lovely fellow guests. The place was immaculate, and the hosts were absolutely charming.I would definitely stay again and it was just what I needed after a 30-mile walk! â
âEverything about Langley Castle was excellent. The room was grand and spacious, with a view of the castle. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, and as a guest at the hotel you get the chance to go on the complimentary Battlement guided tour. It's well worth a stay and I'll definitely come back some day. â
âFairly central to surrounding shops & bars. Free parking. Very friendly & helpful. A large, spacious room with plenty of draws & hanging space. The Hotel as a whole was very clean. â
âThe staff were the star of the show, on every interaction we had with them the were friendly and couldn't be more helpful. If you are doing Hadrians Wall Walk, this is the place to stay in Wylam / Heddon on the Wall. â

âSo convenient for NCL, a short walk from arrivals. Also, less than 5 minute walk to get rental car in the morning. Finally I was able to get a table in the restaurant, have something to eat and write my report from the days work while waiting for a late flight.â
âDelightful stay with incredibly friendly & willing staff,nothing was too much trouble. A mixture of old and new & my room(in the garden block) was spacious,modern & a lovely view from the patio over the cricket pitch & down to the Tyne. Food was very good,I ate in the bar but you can go more formal if you want.
Hotel is in an enviable position,just outside Bellingham so access to roads easy. Even an indoor pool. If you like comfort,without formality,I would highly recommend.â

"Good hotel, the breakfast was packed. One person on our floor was smoking, so the entire hallway smelled of cigarette smoke.
We spoke with the reception, who moved us to a different floor. "

"PÄ grund av en akut kallelse till hjÀrtoperation blev det en lÄng och emotionell dag som tog vÀldigt mycket energi. Utan att ha nÄgot bestÀmt boende löste vi det och Àr sÄ otroligt tacksamma för bemötandet vi fick hÀr av Kristina och hennes kollegor i receptionen. De mÀrkte snabbt att vi var i behov av att bara fÄ andas och hÀmta igen oss och gav verkligen allt och lite till för att visa vilka förstÄende och empatiska mÀnniskor de var.
Dagen efter fick den opererade vila ut pÄ rummet extra lÀnge medans barnen fick vara och leka i poolen. VÀlbehövligt och tacksamt för alla inblandade!
