“When we arrived there was no heating, within an hour of reporting it a plumber had come out, electric heaters were provided as it couldn’t be fixed straight away. Very efficient service. Apartment great location near facilities, very clean only downside is sofa bed in lounge really is not comfortable for sleeping on, you could feel the springs through the mattress.”

“Had 4 nights stay at Casa Crusoe, lovely accommodation. Great location, spotlessly clean. This is our second stay, would highly recommend. Will definitely be booking again.”

“Very well equipped and cosy. Easy access to the town and seafront. Quality bedding and towels. ”

“The apartment was furnished and decorated to a very high spec with lots of tech gadgets. Cooling fans in all the rooms and plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances of good quality. The bed which was high end with a Tempur mattress was firm. It might suit some guests but for us it was too firm. A few too many air fresheners! We are sorry to say that the sofas weren’t comfy in particular the sofa bed again too firm even though we appreciated they were of a high standard being Italian leather.”

“Every thing ran smoothly host was both on hand when we needed then as we had a problem with the drains in the shower .over all it’s a very small cottage for 2 people .Ideal for one night stay but we were there 4 nights .check out there other cottages we saw inside one they are lovely spacious better for a 4 night stay .area is ideal for Thornton le dale Pickering Whitby Robin Hood bay .Didnt think much to Scarborough”

“This was a lovely stay, the apartment was perfect for us, very clean and plenty of parking. We've not got a dog but the whole site is very dog friendly and the beach is only a 10 min walk away... we loved the beach and the free swimming (bookable) was good too. Thank you”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.”

“We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the front door. Everything was perfect. It was lovely and clean with everything we needed for a comfortable 4 day stay. Beds were so comfy and clean. We will definitely come back.”

“We recently had a lovely stay with our toddler grandaughter. Great, clear communications from the owners. The cottage was clean and very well equiped with everything you could need. Even had children's cutlery, plates, high chair and stair gate. Good size living area and spacious bedrooms with plenty room for the travel cot. Grassed area out the back bi fold doors for the little one to safely run around on. Easy walk to the leisure facilities, pub, shop etc, and short walk to the beach path. Yes...

“Beautifully decorated home. Spotlessly clean and a perfect location for the beach! All the little things had been thought of. The beds were very comfortable and it really felt like a home from home - we would definitely choose baileys beach house again! My daughter especially loved Steven the seagull! Ps. Just a few stained cups that possibly need replacing.”

“We had a wonderful stay in shell cottage with our 3 children . A well stocked comfortable home in a great location. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and the beach is just unrivalled. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all the essentials.”

“A very cosy little house. It is in a great location for the North Bay end of Scarborough which is where we wanted to be. It is a short 10 minute walk through a small housing estate down a hill and you are on the beach. The house is really well equipped, with loads of kitchen utensils, it has wifi, a comfy bed, a brand new bathroom, two parking spaces and even a hairdryer. I would definitely recommend”

“Really enjoyed out stay in this comfortable apartment.”

“We had a great long weekend at Echo beach, the house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, Also a great location right next to the park, would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.”

“What a fab weekend away!! Pinecone Lodge was everything we wanted, and more. The lodge was spotless, had everything you could need, was huge too. The hot tub was lovely and big. We arrived to a lovely welcome basket with daffodils and fizz which was a nice touch. Will definitely recommend and would love to return.”
