Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. ”

I recommend the steamboat cruise. 15 minute drive from bracebridge where they have mini-put live music at the griffin pub.The backyard was not finished, it will be great in the future once fences are up and i recommend a fire pit a sauna or hot tub. ”

“The property is stunning. The dock onto the river is breath taking. Bit steep if you dont have great mobility, but was perfect for us. Beds were both queen size and comfy. The futon was not the most comfortable but perfect for lying on and enjoying the fireplace. Kitchen was fully stocked and had a drinking water spout. Host was extremely kind and responsive when needed. My partner and I had an amazing experience here and looking forward to coming again.”

We felt very comfortable at the cottage. Beautiful lake views from the cottage and dock. Hiked up Huckleberry Lookout which is a 5 minute walk away. Used the kayaks on the property. Fireplace in the cottage works very well. We did a Rosseau lake trip on the Peerless II. ”
