If only they would communicateâŠ..
Nice place, just as described, perfect for our group, comfortable bedsâŠâŠ.BUT the communication leaves some to be desired. Nobody wants to respond to you. We downsized a month before arrival but they continued to send and confirm the original place. Even sent me the address of the original place three days before check in. I questioned the reservation immediatelyâŠ..cricketsâŠno responses. Youâre suppose to get your code after 3:00 pm on arrival dayâŠ.no code. We got ahold of RachelâŠ.Oooops wrong address but got us the right one and a code to get in, with one carload headed to the wrong address and eight guys standing in the parking lot of the golf course at 7:00 pm we got the correct information. Iâm pretty proactive in getting these thing organized but when you canât get anyone to respond it is hard to know what is going to transpire. Iâve been doing this for 30 years and if there is a glitch it is the lodging reservation people. Golf courses rarely screw things up but lodging will have too few rooms, too many rooms, the front desk will want to charge rack rate even after you show them the contract rate. It seems to plague the industry everywhere you go. We downsized to a unit that was half the price but I have not seen a credit yet? We have come to expect it more often than notâŠâŠwhy does it have to be like this in a service industry or any industry? Our education system has cheated a whole generationâŠâŠ.arenât you proud?
