“This was a super cool place to stay... There is nothing like it around. Three sides of the building are 1-sided mirrors, so we had a 180 degree view from inside, but no one could see in. The 2-person hot tub was an added bonus. Very clean and located a little ways off the golden circle road. I would highly recommend for a very unique experience. ”

Petra is an exceptional host, very kind and helpful. We needed help with the car, and she was available immediately. We've been traveling around Iceland for a while now, and this is the best accommodation. A 5, but I'd rate it 10. Highly recommended.”

The kitchen is large and fully stocked with everything needed to cook. The location is perfect for day trips to all of southern Iceland. ”

“This unique building has very high quality furniture, bedding, and towels. Even robes are provided. The hot tub in the back yard is a highlight. Lots of windows let in the epic Icelandic landscape. When the wind pics up you feel cozy and comfortable with every convenience. There is a full sized washer AND dryer (great for families). The gas station is a 10 minute walk away and has all the basic groceries you need along with a small diner. If you are in the area, this is a great place to stay. ”

“Helga was so nice and couldn’t do enough for us. We stayed here as a stop off to head south to Vik and skaftafell glacier hike and it was perfect. Cozy anecdote comfortable, Helga even gave us some lovely chocolate cake 😊”

“Lovely rental- very clean and comfortable. The ocean is indeed right there, but there is a berm that reduces the view. We did not anticipate travel time to get to breakfast places- but there are some lovely dinner restaurants within walking distance. Thank you for this lovely stay.”

“This house is almost too good to be real, but it is. The pictures are not AI, this place actually looks like that! Our group stayed here for six nights and we could not have asked for a better experience. Each couple had their own suite and bathroom, which was perfect. The bedding was on point, the water pressure was great, and the ability to do laundry was a nice bonus. The views are stunning! The outdoor soaking tub was wonderful, especially in the early morning with a cup of coffee. It's rare...

Die beiden sind wahnsinnig nett und immer erreichbar, die Unterkunft ist sehr gemütlich und sauber und wir hatten auch für unser Baby alles, was wir brauchten. Perfekt ist zudem die Lage. “A 4 day stay in a comfortable cottage about 15-10 min drive from Selfoss, 5 min drive from the Kerid volcanic crater. Cottage with all amenities except washer in a quiet area with several other similar cottages. Nearest supermarkets in Selfoss (there is one nearer by but is was closed). Having a car is a necessity though. ”
