“We went here as part of a family trip and rented 3 iglooos. Overall stay was amazing, but there were a few quirks effecting the overall comfort. One of the igloos didn’t have the air conditioning working, which left the igloo quite cold. Thankfully they had additional space heater in the room. Size of the igloos is perfect for one person, but when two people space becomes quite cramped. Still manageable for light packers. Final quirk was lack of wifi in two of the rooms. Besonderes Highlight ist natürlich der Hot Tub auf der Terrasse. Die Gastgeberin Renate ist super nett, und es hat von Anfang bis Ende, alles sehr gut geklappt. Absolute Weiterempfehlung! ”

“The host cancelled last minute. I sent a message via VRBO app 14 hours before just to touch base with him. He didn’t respond. When I called him to let him know we would be getting in late, he told me the house is not functional. He was apologetic. But left us high and dry. We searched all the hotels in Reykjavík and all were full due to the pride parade happening. I tried calling him back to help settle this with VRBO and he ghosted me. I’m sure he’s a nice guy. But sleeping at the airport...
