"Newly renovated so nice rooms. Unfortunately the service was very bad and weird setup. Was not allowed to put drinks on my room and asked to go to reception to pay for my drinks. The bar staff were embarrassed about the whole situation and apologized (they were good). To top the bad experience i started getting calls to my room i had to settle my bill from earlier at lunch. I had not even checked in by then since i arrived by 5pm. This did not occur to them at first and it took some time and explanations. This was my second time visit this year and i must say i will not be heading back. The service is simply awful and among the worst i have encountered in Mauritius which i visit many times a year. Will choose another hotel next time."

"Bra restauranger med bra kvalitet och bra service. Överlag ett jättebra hotell med bra service. Inget att klaga på där. Rummen kändes däremot lite skitiga gällande städningen. "

"Vi älskade allt med detta hotell! Fina fräscha välstädade rum, fantastiskt trevlig och charmig personal överallt, god mat och en omfattande vinlista på All inclusive. Lagom stort så att det kändes familjärt. Många oväntade ”happenings” som vinprovning i poolen, påskbuffé med skön levande musik, osv osv. Vi blev fint uppvaktade på vår bröllopsdag. Vi vill komma tillbaka så snart vi kan! "

"Mycket nöjd med vår vistelse på 1 vecka. Jättefint poolområde med en poolbar där du också kunde äta lunch. Liten strand och lite vassa stentrappor ner till vattnet men fin botten och ljuvligt vatten. En del solsängar i mindre bra skick men de byttes ut under vår vecka så jättebra! Frukostbuffen jättefin och fanns allt. Vi åt lunch några gånger och jättegod mat dock kanske lite onödigt dyr men är ju ofta så på hotell. Bra läge med gångavstånd in till Grand Baie med många restauranger! Fanns även ett gym som var fräsht. Vi skulle absolut vilja bo här igen och kan rekommendera det! "

"We had a lovely stay at Solana! The staff is very friendly and helpful. They organized a candlelight dinner at the gazebo by the beach for us which was a wonderful experience! Clean room with an amazing view. But as most hotels, the bed was a bit too hard for our taste. Food at the buffet is varied and tasty. But if you want better seafood you have to book for a la carte and pay a little extra, even with the all inclusive package. Perfect place if you just want some peace and quiet to relax. But if you want to explore the island and have excursions I would rather recommend a hotel on the west coast. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! "
