“First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!”

“We had a lovely stay at this cottage. It was very close to the Lodge at Harrisburg Lake where our extended family had a reunion. The Cottage gave us a quiet space for our family to stay, while still being close to the action. The lake is quiet and lovely, and just a short walk down the road. The incline to the lake is steep, and too difficult for anyone with ambulatory issues. Not everyone at the reunion could enjoy the lake. That is just something to keep in mind here. “Fantastic trip overall. I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the cabin. We also got out to High Peaks for a day hike in the Adirondacks. Would absolutely stay here again. Only thing is we didn’t know what time to show up for pizza. Communication was good up until I asked what time, so I’m guessing that message just fell through the cracks. We arrived to the pizza location at 7:30, were informed that it had started at 6:30, and everything was already cleaned up....
