Lava Family Inn ligger bara några minuter från Downtown Lava Hot Springs med bad, slangar, parker, restauranger, shopping, livsmedelsbutiker, museer etc. Om du är en skidåkare är Pebble Creek Ski Resort också bara några minuter bort.

Vår fastighet är ett fullt möblerat, 7 sovrum, 5 ½ bad, fritidshus. Idealisk för stora eller flera familjeåterföreningar, retreater, bröllop och mottagningar. Perfekt bakgrund för familjefoton. Hemmet är mycket avskilt, med omgivande vegetation, gräsbevuxen trädgård, litet damm och en ström som går igenom, med vilda djur att ses nästan dagligen, särskilt på morgnar och kvällar.

Beläget i sydöstra Idaho - en timmes och fyrtiofem minuters bilresa norrut från Salt Lake City. Omgiven av offentliga berg med stigar som är perfekta för vandringar, promenader, cykling, terrängcykling, fyra rullar och ridning. Portnuef River ligger strax under fastigheten med idrottsmän tillgång för utmärkt öringfiske. Floden har flera vattenhål för att simma i närheten, eller bara titta på dess många vattenfall. Att sväva Portnuef-floden vid Lava Hot Springs är både underhållande och avkopplande - särskilt under de varma sommarmånaderna.

Lava Hot Springs är inte de enda varma källorna att besöka i Idaho. 75 mil öster om vårt familjhem bör du besöka Soda Springs, Idaho, en av världens enda gejsrar som är fångade! Geysern är nu täckt och kontrollerad av en timer och bryter ut varje timme på timmen och når höjder på 100 fot året runt.

Second time staying here

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this location. There is plenty of room for all 17 of us. Property is beautiful and perfect for outdoor games and for kids to play. Good location in relation to city of Lava. The upper floor does get quite warm but, fans are provided in each of the rooms to try and help with that.

This place was amazing. The home was very large. Tbe master bedroom had an Alaskan king-size bed. Grandkids were very impressed with this bed. We had 30 at our family reunion. Lots of space, inside and outside for everyone. The owners were very nice. Answered all my questions quickly.

Quiet, safe, and comfortable

Our family included 23 individuals and we had plenty of space for sleeping, eating, and just hanging out. The grandchildren had great spaces for exploring, playing tag, capture the flag, swing, duck feeding, and more. The adults enjoyed the decks and beauty of the surrounding trees. We had a great family reunion thanks to the comfort of this location.

This property was amazing. Very clean. Host was amazing to communicate with me on anything I needed. We loved the wild turkeys and ducks. They greeted us every morning. The property's kitchen facilities were so wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone and my family wants to come stay again. I think I will try in the warmer months to take full advantage of all this property has to offer. Thank you.

Great place for a large group!

We had a great weekend at the Lava Family Inn and definitely would recommend it! We had 16 in our group in total and there was more than enough space. The kitchen and living areas are great for spending time together and playing games. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need. The host was great with communication and ensured we had a lovely stay. There are ducks and wild turkeys at the property which were very entertaining and fun to watch. Only downside of that is the ducks are pretty messy and despite our efforts to keep them away from the front entrance, they really like to hang out there and leave their messes where everyone has to walk to enter the home. We also visited the Sanctuary down the road and it is quite beautiful and peaceful. I can imagine in summer it would be so much fun. All in all, I wound highly recommend this property for any group retreat or family reunion. Thank you!

Fun Stay

We loved our time here. The house was perfect for our needs and the size of our family! We especially loved the yard with the wild animals coming in to visit each day. The house was clean, the yard is immaculate. It was a little ways from Lava Hot Springs, but not too far. We liked being by ourselves up on the hillside! I would highly recommend a stay here

Private river property is amazing!

We absolutely loved being at the beautiful, peaceful, private river sanctuary. The family loved playing and swimming in and around the rock waterfalls. Kids rode tubes down the falls. We had paddle boards and kayaks too. The house was fantastic and accommodated 38 of us. My only complaint is the basement is outdated and needs a good facelift. The yard is shady and private. Great place to host a reunion. The house is better than the pictures show it to be (except the basement rooms) and there are bigger beds and extra mattresses than what is listed. Joel was super helpful through texts and calls to help me know what was available so I could assign families the right size rooms. He is friendly and great to work with. The master bed is unbelievably huge!

Young Women’s Camp

This was the perfect property for our youth camp! We spent most of the time outside on the beautiful shaded, property. There were so many beds and places to sleep for everyone. The pantry was large to keep all of our food. It was perfect, and I want to come back for a family reunion!

Great family reunion location

This was an ideal set-up for our family reunion of 34 people. We loved the large kitchen and large group gathering areas. The upstairs was a little warm (it was the middle of July), but the rest of the house was very comfortable. The outdoor area was lovely with plenty of grassy areas and shade. Communication with the owner was easy, immediate, and clear.

Great place with plenty to do

Had 36 family members staying for a reunion. Lots of room and Kids enjoyed the size of the kitchen. Enough places available so if someone needed some alone time they could get away for a few min. the 10 x 10 bed in the master bedroom was a little silly but thats ok. You could tell you were in a basement when you were down there. over all it was good. The host texted me a couple of times a day to see how things were going, a little bit invasive for me.

Great family reunion property.

So many good things about this home. The main floor and upstairs were gorgeous and clean and spacious. Felt very secluded and comfortable to let the little ones play inside or out. We had an extended family gathering with 29 people including children ages 3-17. There was plenty of space for sleeping and meals. The basement rooms were not the favorites- definitely needs some updating, (mildew smell, poorly lit, ac room was creepy as anything, and the basement shower head has multiple leaks and sprays everywhere). but we were comfortable enough and can’t complain because the price was great compared to similar properties. 20-30 minutes to lava hot springs which has great activities for all ages. Lots of wildlife including ducks, turkeys, red tailed hawks (nest on the property with babies in spring of 2024), and lots of other birds first thing in the morning. Also domestic bunnies were fun for the kids.
