If you are booking for a company, a work crew, or any commercial reason, we have some additional house rules that we’ve found to be mutually beneficial for your guests and our home.
We ask that for any stay of 10 days or more, that we conduct a weekly inspection and quick clean. This will be charged on an hourly basis, but have a minimum charge of $75 per week.

Pets aren't allowed on furniture or in the beds. Please do not leave fuzzy home alone. We know from experience that when animals are left alone they get nervous and want to curl up in bed where you sleep and it ends up becoming a major issue for our cleaning crew. If the house is left with extra cleaning from pets and we have to incur additional cleaning charges or the bedding/linens needs to be replaced, we will be forwarding them to you at cost.

We loved The Cake house. We could have eaten it. Planty of room for all 5 of us. We will be back.

We spent 40 days at the Cake House, and unfortunately had to move as our work got extended but they had other guests arriving. The management was outstanding as the dealt with our ever changing schedules to specific needs we had at the house. Four of us stayed there and had plenty of room, and most importantly plenty of hot water for showers and comfy beds for sleeping. We quickly got accustomed to its convenient location and have missed it every day we have been at the new place. If you’re coming to Pocatello for work or for play, The Cake House is the right place to stay.

It was a delightful home in a peaceful neighborhood with awesome access to trails for hiking or walking. The rented yard and approval to have our pet with us during our stay was priceless.We only encountered 1issue which was a delay on our part in receiving instructions on trash day placement of trash bins..Once we contacted the host they promptly responded to our concern.We really enjoyed our stay and the way the home was presented and was on arrival was so true. The host the neighbors all were friendly and easy to work with.We told everyone we encountered during our stay how much we loved this home and how close to everything it was.

We enjoyed a delightful stay in this quaint "art deco-themed" home. We had everything we needed for a weeklong stay. This location was quiet and conveniently located to anything we needed in Pocatello. We are all outdoor enthusiasts and loved the easy access to an extensive trail system. Our pups (and us, of course!) appreciated the fenced in yard! We found Billy to be very helpful and welcoming to us. Thank you!
