Thbnanks Chris for your review and sorry to hear you ahd trouble with the heatng hwolst you were staying. The heating is regulated by a thermostat and when completing room service daily I observed that he heating was turned off at the main switch and therefore I believed that you didn't require it. if I had known you were having difficulties wand indeed cold I would have informed you to turn it on. The bis service is the Citylink and Highland Stagecoach and due to the village locality it is the only public transport service available. I am pleased overall you enjoyed your stay

Thanks Kurt for your review and all dimensions of bedrooms are detailed in the description along with photographs of what the bedroom looks like. I have also sent you a private message in relation to your stay, please could you respond as a response is required ASAP

Thank you for your comments and please refer to the description and photos as clearly shows this is a family run guest house and not a hotels you thought we were. The guest house is a family home and like all 3star establishments there is no sound proofing in the accommodation, you will find hotels the same.

Thanks for your review John and sorry you thought there was an odd smell to the guest house. Rest assured there are no animals allowed within the guest house and no presence of any, therefore very unsure about the smell and can only think that it may have been walking boots left within the foyer that may have resulted in an odd smell. Myself and other guests haven’t commented therefore this is the only possibility which I can think of.

It was inevitable that this review would be posted after total dissatisfaction with the reservation which was made correctly by the guest, however, seemed to think that myself and Expedia had misinformed and penalised by giving a non suitable accommodation for the overnight stay. Private bathroom means that it is use solely for the bedroom which was identified in the reservation description, the temperature was above average for the time of stay and heating being thermostatic would only start when reaching the suitable temperature. The telephone call was cut off by the guest after the initial first contact was made on arrival which was before the designated check in time and therefore this is why information was placed on the door to allow them to check in earlier than agreed. The bathroom was opposite the bedroom a mere 2 steps door to door. Our home was not a happy place for them to stay overnight which is a great disappointment.
