Motell för Iowa

“Huge bang for your buck. It was clean, and we felt comfortable. They do not have conditioner, so bring your own. I had a late check-in, and there was someone at the desk to help me. She was a little dry, but it was late, so I can't judge too much. The stairwell smelled funky, but the rooms and hallways didn't. The doors are very thin, so you can hear just about anything happening in other rooms when you're in the hallway. Overall, great for the price and would stay there again.”

“The good things: good price, hot water & good pressure in shower. Microwave & fridge, TV in room. Not as good; back door is always open, A/C was not quiet, street noise, only toiletries in room was 2 bars of soap, not even 1 cup for brushing teeth or making tea or coffee you had to wait for AM & they did have free coffee & cups.”

“What a great discovery for visits to the Iowa Great Lakes! The room and entire property were exceptionally clean, with great amenities like fire pits and corn hole games for guest use and tables outside each room with checkers sets for great evening lounging. The staff were nice kind and welcoming and management was available, attentive and also very kind. This place lives up to the “Iowa nice” reputation of the region. The location is also excellent—central to the entire Lakes area. I couldn’t...

“When we got there the staff had no clue what they were doing or what was going on. When we got into our room the floor was dirty, there was holes in our blankets, the bathroom doorknob was on the floor, the tub was half filled with water and the fridge was not cleaned out.”

“There was nothing, I left and went and got another room. They had notes up no refunds and I was scared to stay there. Whoever did the staging photos for the room should get an award. This was a nightmare.”
