“Enjoyable stay on an island - but we had higher expectations. You get picked up in the harbour, works perfectly fine. The lodge was half open to nature and really fantastic. Dark wood materials, comfortable bed, shower half outdoors with nice eco friendly products. Be prepared to get some exercise while climbing up to lobby/dinner area. “My review should be seen in relation to the fact that it is an expensive hotel. The room and the staff were very good. The food was okay. What bothered us the most, unfortunately, was that the hotel did not live up to the rules regarding beach chairs. “We went here for peace, the jungle, birds, the ocean. Oh MAN did it deliver. Lovely high perched cabins right in the trees. The cabins are basically brand new, the lovely smell of wood still lingers. Sealed tight as a drum, you can lie in bed and be a part of the jungle with the screened windows wide open, a part of nature.
