Discover your own slice of paradise at The Pelican Cabin, where a rustic yet thoughtfully designed cabin awaits, nestled within the enchanting wilderness of Kangaroo Island's Island Beach. Once part of the untouched landscape, The Pelican cabin now offers a charming retreat where you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding you.

The property consists of two thoughtfully positioned cabins that are separated enough to provide privacy despite a shared backyard. Your Secluded Sanctuary:

Open Plan Living: Featuring a reverse cycle air conditioner for comfort year-round and a slow combustion fire for those chilly nights, however, complimentary firewood is only available seasonally – 1 May to 30 September only due to Fire Ban seasons.
Well-Equipped Kitchen: To prepare your meals, with each cabin boasting an outdoor deck complete with a BBQ for memorable dining under the stars.
Nature's Guests: Delight in frequent visits from the local wildlife, truly embracing the untouched beauty of your surroundings.

Proximity to Beach: Just a 5-minute walk from your cabin door to the serene, sandy shores of Island Beach where children can safely play, and adventurers can enjoy kayaking or fishing in the shallow, clear waters.
Explore the Wild: Beyond your doorstep, the area is rich with attractions. Wander along coastal paths, observe the vibrant birdlife, or visit nearby pristine beaches like the unforgettable Pennington Bay, only 10 minutes away.

Nature's Embrace - Pelican cabin was a perfect chocie for our family holiday. The house itself was clean and well provisioned with linen, towels, salt/pepper/oil and small appliances for convenience. Our stay was made very comfortable by the air conditioning and very comfortable beds. The extra convenience of having wifi, a smart tv, board games and even wireless charging stations made the stay extra pleasant. Location was perfect! Close to Penneshaw and fairly centrally locates in the middle of the island so Kingscote and Vivonne Bay were still fairly close. And loved sharing the space with some wild locals who enjoyed lounging outside our cabin and raiding the bins. Our host Liam was great with communication and made sure to check in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed to make our stay complete. Couldnt have wished for more.

We had a really nice stay at the cabin! Very clean, and it had all the extra bits and pieces you could need eg oil, paper towel, etc. The kitchen had all the utensils / crockery / cookware you could possibly want. It was really cosy with the fireplace! We had kangaroo visitors to the back door
