Was able to arrange a tuktuk transfer to several of the archaeological and religious sites within Anuradhapura for 5000 rupees (3-4 hours tour). Highly recommend!â
âThe Heritage is set in a fabulous location, in magnificent grounds on the edge of a lake, peaceful and comfortable. Yet in easy reach of the Sacred City. The staff were helpful and breakfasts superb.â

âThis place is amazing. It was the first place we stayed in in Sri Lanka and we were really pleasantly surprised. Check-in was quick, the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well, the pool was lovely with a gorgeous view, the bathroom was well equipped, and the kottu roti that we had for dinner was delicious.
