“The Rock House is just beautiful, but its location makes it even more charming. Is super close to downtown and at reasonable distance from all the trending wineries on 290. Communication with host/owners was great. The check in/check out process was very easy and the house have enough accommodations to spend a wonderful weekend, any time of the year. Definitely we would book again!”

“Overall excellent accommodations, convenient to big city Austin and local recreational state parks. Could use a hair dryer. Also warn about ( place eye-catching warning tape? ) the raised thresholds at room doorways. Surprised by a trip! Uneven floors. Oops! A wonderful location convenient to walk to “downtown” Blanco restaurants and businesses. Highly recommended! Yet quiet location. Gracious hosts always responsive to questions.”

“house was cute and perfect size. hot tub was great and outdoor firepit was just perfect for this time of year . house is not within walking distance of downtown though . floors were very dirty in kitchen and living space.prher than that it was great .”

“The pictures show exactly how beautiful this place is! Also, you could not ask for a better location. A fantastic lunch and dinner restaurant was directly across the street but for safety we walked 1/2 block to cross at a stoplight. The best place for breakfast was a block up the street! Also, Main Street with all its shops was just two blocks away. All the wineries are in a very close proximity and if you like great views Google the Willow Loop! Then follow your GPS. You’ll love it”

“This house was a fun place for our long weekend! It makes great use of the space, and is extremely clean. The decor is music themed & whimsical, which is fun, and it's also comfortable. We enjoyed using the front porch rocking chairs and swing! It does sit on a fairly busy street, but that can't be changed. The vet across the street provided us with cow "chatter," which we just loved! Overall, a nice place for a our quick vacation!”

“We booked 2 years ago in anticipation of the solar eclipse happening on our 35th anniversary. We looked for a place large enough that we could include our family for these significant events. The house worked perfectly for us and our 3 kids/families. Ages ranged from 16 months to almost 70. Plenty of room for comfort. Kitchen was very well equipped my only suggestion would be to add a basic Mr. Coffee pot (we brought our own) in addition to the Kureig—2 pots a day for 8 adults equates to a lot...
