âMy husband and I travel all around the world. We decided to celebrate his milestone birthday and retirement at The Ivy, which had been on our bucket list for a while. My goodness! It's the best hotel we've ever visited. If there were such a thing as a six star hotel, this would be it. âGreat location and a very nice staff. Cute boutique hotel. The room is nice and the bed is comfy. Be prepared to pay $60 per night for valet parking at the hotel...which is steep. The sign outside the hotel notes $50 for parking however they add 20% tax on top of that, which is extreme and likely not passed on to the valet as a tip, so you tip..on top of that too. If you only travel with an overnight bag, it's definitely worth finding another garage/lot in the area, which would save you some...

âStaff was friendly, the area is nice and contains good shopping and dining within walking distance. The parking garage is okay and contains an elevator to the hotel but only to the lobby. All in all I would stay here again.â
âThe hotel is OK, nothing special. The rooms are clean and pretty modern.
Upsides:
Some cosy and nice restaurants are located close to the hotel.
Nice beds
It is located close to the harbour and down town are. About a 25 minute walk.
Downsides:
The AC can not be change from the room. So if you want to change the temperature or turn it off you need to contact the front desk to do it for you.
if you decide to walk the down town area you will pass some underprivileged areas which do not look...
